What do you get for £1.88 these days?

I use one and it's great. I keep mine tucked under the handle grip. If you find it starts to vibrate then take the rotating bit apart and stick a blob of bluetack in there, then position where you want it and it will be held in place. That's kept mine solid for a few months now.

What's the Q128C like at low speeds?

I've only got 36v or 44v option and was thinking given the Q128 good power a 260rpm would be powerful enough for me at 36v if they did one. I will post how my Q100H 260RPM @36v test goes when I do it.

Advice Needed Re: Waterproofs for Commuting

I know your not bothered about a wet head but on a freezing icey day one of these is great for keeping the cold wind/ice and rain off your head. Stopped me getting headaches on cold mornings...

What's the Q128C like at low speeds?

I wish they did a version about 260rpm. I am going to be trying the 260rpm version of the Q100H soon.

Which kit? 12 mile range, 20mph, hub motor, city bike

I'm pretty sure the Q128C is a sensored motor so probably this controller would be a better option for that motor. http://pswpower.com/peng/iview.asp?KeyID=dtpic-2016-3F-33C0.50CGS or the S12S and LCD3 from BMSBattery since you are already paying postage from there. I have my controller and...

    Small Rear Xiongda Motor

Couldn't resist and tried it on 12S lipo's fully charged at 50v, still with the original 11amp controller. The controller seemed to work ok and the motor really comes to life. When unrestricted and full throttle it could pull me along the flat at about 20/21m p h without pedalling but it is...

    DIY Conversion - Voodoo Marasa

I'm sure I have that same rotational change on one of my motors and think you might have just solved it. Am I right in thinking all motors are x16 magnets and your numbers are rounded up/down to the nearest i.e 15.7.1 becomes 16:1 (16x16)?

ebike not outputting more than 30 watts and motor slowing me down when activated

Just been to look at a spare freewheel and your right, I was using the force of the removal tool against the force of the chain whip, held in a vice. No wonder it snapped. The freewheel was stuck on a motor not yet built into a wheel so I was in a right panic and thought that was the only way...

ebike not outputting more than 30 watts and motor slowing me down when activated

A few weeks ago I had one which was stuck solid and snapped my chain whip tool and I nearly ended up pulling my vice off the bench so ended up using a hammer and pin punch as shown at the start of the previous video. First was to remove the screw part he shows, but mine also had a small thing...

ebike not outputting more than 30 watts and motor slowing me down when activated

I had the same problem and it's wasn't easy drilling out, nearly melted the drill bit. Maybe dremmeling it out with a small grind stone might have been easier.

Another little gem on ES Forum.

I would have liked to put my motor on a light commuter bike and put it through it's paces but haven't got one yet and there's no point stripping my bike down for it because the bike's heavy on it's own, I keep looking out for bargains. Halfords have a sale on Boardman but the 9kg one I like is...

I wondered what the lugs were for, that's clever thinking. I was pondering this morning over it bouncing out going over bumps.
