ADVICE/ADVICE - Think my battery has Finally died !!!

Not true, a 36V battery charger will charge to 42V. Maybe the BMS will not allow charging as the voltage supplied is too low.

Doesn't allow for any development, we'd all still be stuck with a standard horse or something!

anyone else got plantar fasciitis from cycling?

If like many you pedal with your arches rather than having the pedal shaft under the ball of your foot you can cause pain that is not dissimilar to plantar fascillitis.

    Results of cycling accident

I guess it's due to accident stats, many times this thread has referred to urban cycling being much safer than 'sports' cycling.

    Derestricted or legal

Not that I know of, I guess it will only happen following an accident. The police in Austria where I ride my bike do have a dynamometer and do test bike cut out speed. They are also fully aware of the methods of working most if not all of the mainstream dongles.

    Derestricted or legal

If the police chose to prosecute you for riding a deristricted pedelec they would charge you with riding an unregistered and uninsured motor cycle.

    Bosch Powerpack 400 losing capacity

I know when I was commuting unpowered my average speed would always be slower in the winter. We wear more (usually bulkier) clothing so the air doesn't flow over us as well. Couple that with cold battery performance losses and it's easy to think your battery has less capacity.

Is Shimano Hollowtech 2 BB compatible with BBSHD?

A very quick google gives me images of screwed bearing cups. Shimano's own literature talks about moving the bearings outside of a standard 68mm bottom bracket shell. It will fit.

Is Shimano Hollowtech 2 BB compatible with BBSHD?

Aren't the bearings just screwed into a standard bottom bracket shell? Never used a Shimano Hollowtech but that is how the FSA range worked.

Best derestriction for Bosch Active Line?

I guess you are right with the normal Bosch motor. I believe the active line has a normal chainring with no reduction gears. It is now possible to have 32:32 or 34:34 etc so it is no longer feasible for Bosch to run that check.
