    Brexit, for once some facts.

But our view of Saville was what the BBC portrayed. He came over as a caring person, working as a porter at Stoke Mandeville, all those marathon runs. The BBC covered the truth up very well and the public were fed a diet of untruths.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Agreed, But it was a rhetorical question, it always means that some soldiers and civilians have to die. In our own interests we should howl down anyone who suggests another foreign adventure. Why should parents who have spent their lives lovingly raising children allow some ding head to suggest...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The problem as I see it is that we have too many people that get "Concerned" about things happening in other countries and demand that we take action. They get egged on by a moribund press desperate for anything that will sell newspapers and off we go again. Truly, all the trouble in the world...

    Where are Wisper Bikes Manufactured?

The problem that I have with this is that it is fundamentally undemocratic, using ER tactics of causing great inconvenience to others. Stand for election and if your message is popular you will succeed.

    Where are Wisper Bikes Manufactured?

A classic troll. Starts off quite reasonably but eventually their frustration with life breaks through and they start with the insults. I wonder why a site such as this gets targeted by trolls. Could it be that it is only the one, who in many guises plagues us? Could Budsy be our old friend...

    Where are Wisper Bikes Manufactured?

Of course, Boris and the Conservatives would love to see Scotland go independent. There would never be another Labour government. Just that they do not want to be seen as the party that broke up the Union. But provided the Scots keep up the pressure, the conservatives will be seen as bowing to...

    Where are Wisper Bikes Manufactured?

Well, the Scots moan on about 'Being dragged out of the EU against their will' They forget that it was precisely because of the Union that we were able to resist the Nazis and Scotland played a noble part. However, if Scotland had been 'Free', they would now be part of the Greater German Reich...

    Where are Wisper Bikes Manufactured?

Oh dear. The UK is one entity, you are just like the Welsh Nats, moaning on about Welsh coal and all the English reservoirs drowning our valleys. It's ridiculous, may as well demand reparations from the Romans, Vikings and Normans.

    Moving Off at Traffic Lights

Sadly misinformed. Bikes are for transport. If you want to get fit, take up jogging.

I thought that Shetland and Orkney claim North Sea oil, and what's more they will not join Scotland if it becomes independent.

    Help! Riding Position Help Please

Are you sure that you know how to adjust this type of saddle clamp? You say that the bolt is near the limit, both bolts should be equally engaged, the clamp rests on serrations and you need to loosen the bolts sufficiently to be able to move the clamp to a suitable serration.

Broken rear spoke. Caused by rear motor?

There are spokes and spokes. Some OEM spokes are very poor quality and break easily. Also, no-one mentions the fact that stainless steel unlike the older mild steel spokes suffers from crevice corrosion and can snap suddenly.

    Help! Wobbly pedal spindle

Best thing that you can do for now is nothing, just take some photos and show us what is wrong, your description makes no sense. If you mean that you have a wobbly pedal, you can just take it off and fit a new one. Photos first please.

"Super light electric bikes could soon be a reality..." ??

I think that consideration should be given not only to the obviously blind but to those with impaired vision. People with impaired vision such as macula degeneration may not be particularly noticeable to others but to a certain extent they will rely on their hearing

"Super light electric bikes could soon be a reality..." ??

I once saw an 1890's advert for bicycle 'Jingle bells', the same sort that you sometimes find on reins for a toddler. Attaching them to a bike would give out a continuous jingle.

    Battery discharger/level indicator

I have been leaving my spare batteries for months on end for the past 4 years, they seem to be OK, as GSV3 says they soon lose their charge anyway, the trick is actually not to leave them too long.

Right to repair law & Bosch motors

Quite frankly, this absolutely unnecessary 'locking in' of electronics via Canbus smacks of profiteering, protectionism, restraint of trade and has a whiff of the Volkswagen scandal that also misused electronics. Electronics should be there to benefit mankind, not ensure fat profits for greedy...
