    Crank Drive Motor Clunking Noise

Now that is very interesting, how about the New G06 that u are using on the new Crusa? That's a nifty motor and not too far behind the BPM correct me if I'm wrong. So if it is a Bosch or Yamaha or Steps bike and we added a hub, your advice would be to put it on the back wheel as opposed to the...

    Crank Drive Motor Clunking Noise

Wouldn't that depend on the original weight if the bike? Legal aspect, it would be interesting to see a case, I wouldn't say the legality is set in stone but I tend to agree with you. However isn't it based on continuous power output? If both Motors are 250w how would the actual power output...

    Crank Drive Motor Clunking Noise

Sorry, I meant adding a BPM to a pre built Bosch Mid Drive effectively giving you a throttle on a branded CD bike.

    Crank Drive Motor Clunking Noise

Very interesting. So how about BBSO2 Mid Coupled with a BPM on the front wheel, 2 x batteries, 2 controllers serving each motor independentally, then we have the best of both worlds? Or the bike would collapse?

    Crank Drive Motor Clunking Noise

Aha.. It's as David Niall of Wisper said, I quote "it's an absolute minefield out there" Hes right, so many variables with news sources and dealers bias in their own opinions or offerings. As far as trying to trace threads back using Tapatalk, more chance of locating Lord Lucan.

    Crank Drive Motor Clunking Noise

There is so much misinformation on the internet and from so called reliable sources touting CD motors more efficient on hills, that's why the phrase included "Supposedly" as opposed to "Are" But if you think about it logically there are other instances that are inefficient from a standing...

Dual Motor eBike - Throttle option Bosch, Yamaha can?

Exactly, I don't mind pedaling but I want the option to free ride when I want to. Your dog really going for it, lovely.

Dual Motor eBike - Throttle option Bosch, Yamaha can?

Right, Leigh but its a novel concept to get throttle access when needed if buying a branded mid-drive albeit kissing goodbye to any warranty.

Dual Motor eBike - Throttle option Bosch, Yamaha can?

Another point if there were 2 x 250w on one bike would it be viewed as a 500w from a legal standpoint?

Dual Motor eBike - Throttle option Bosch, Yamaha can?

Yes, it would need to be separate batteries with integrated controllers. Somebody in my local group asked me.

Dual Motor eBike - Throttle option Bosch, Yamaha can?

Picture of dual hub set up back and front wheel. So my question is on a mid-drive BOSCH, Yamaha or Shimano Steps, could a hub motor be fitted to the front wheel with a throttle, if so how would battery and controller work?

    Gearing and motor

Interestingly enough so many Shimano steps reviews were in German, that surprises me. If we liken Shimano to an iphone then as with Apple who make both the hardware and the software creating tighter integration then can the same be said for Shimano between drive and gears?

    Gearing and motor

Heres a 2016 pitch on shimano steps and how they say they have addressed drivetrain stress and chain dropping.

Are you running a hub gear on the back?

    Gearing and motor

Yes me too, I like the neatness of the pre built and if course the support, but would like to have a throttle, which none of the big brands have. Do u have a pic of your bike?

Im wondering how the Shimano Steps stacks up? Or even the latest bafang mid drive
