Another point if there were 2 x 250w on one bike would it be viewed as a 500w from a legal standpoint? What would be the point? You would go the same speed and drain the battery twice as fast.
Powerful for hills I'm guessing.
No. It would be 2 x legal motors. But you wouldn't go twice as fast.Another point if there were 2 x 250w on one bike would it be viewed as a 500w from a legal standpoint?
Right, Leigh but its a novel concept to get throttle access when needed if buying a branded mid-drive albeit kissing goodbye to any warranty.No. It would be 2 x legal motors. But you wouldn't go twice as fast.
Yes, exactlyThe only reason I can think of would be a throttle controlled hub to give you a free ride.
Free-rides are great. The only reason I can think of would be a throttle controlled hub to give you a free ride.
Exactly, I don't mind pedaling but I want the option to free ride when I want to. Your dog really going for it, lovely.Free-rides are great.
Here's my lad free riding, cross country, after the first 5 seconds.
You can't beat being spoilt for choice.Again it's each to his own .. but I like the idea of going out knowing I will have to pedal it back no matter what. If I had a free ride button I would be tempted to use it.....
