    Ezee Motor

Would anyone know what the serial number on this Ezee motor means ? Is it a V2 motor and is it 250rpm or 350rpm. I am hoping someone can help The label reads: EZ-R-10011-3 and EZ-R3.

    Alternative to Ezee hub motor

You have my interest! What would a new controller and display be able to do that my current setup wouldn't? It does everything that I need it to at the moment?

    Alternative to Ezee hub motor

Thanks for that, I will take a look. Yep I ordered my controller from Grin and by the time you add shipping and import duty on top it works out way too expensive to justify

    Alternative to Ezee hub motor

Hi all. I have an Ezee front hub motor and Grin 25 Amp controller which I love. I have been doing more off road riding lately and am finding the limitations of a front drive motor. Ideally I would buy an Ezee rear hub motor but you just can’t get them in the UK anymore and having one imported...

    Ezee throttle voltage

Great information there Fella Here are the specs for the controller. does this suggest that it wants upto 4V for full throttle or 3.8V

Thanks for the reply. Yep it has 5v across the live and ground wires :)

    Ezee throttle voltage

Hiya all. I have 2 Ezze throttles, a thumb and twist type. I have measured the voltage output on them both at full throttle and they BOTH output 3.6v. This can't be right eh? I thought it should be 4 to 4.2v at full throttle. Is this just a quirk of the Ezee throttles or is something else...

Question about my upgraded Ezee 25Amp controller

Cool :) The battery is getting tired and only charges to 54.3v now. I just split the cases apart to see if I can tell what cells are in there. It looks like I would have to peel all the protective tape off it to get a good look. It would never bee the same again if it did so I just put it back...

Question about my upgraded Ezee 25Amp controller

Thanks for the reply. My thoughts are the battery too. Part of the master plan is to upgrade it to a 48v 17Ah soon anyway. Others have suggested the same or perhaps the motor has some windings burned out? I have emailed Grin, who supplied the controller, to see what they think before hitting...

Question about my upgraded Ezee 25Amp controller

Hiya all I have an Ezee conversion kit on my bike with a 48V 10Ahr battery. I have just upgraded the controller from the stock Ezee 20A to an Ezee 25A. I have a power meter fitted to the bike and have recorded the following data up my steepest hill with the 20A and 25A controllers. 20Amp...

Upgrade from my Ezee V2 kit

Thanks for the replies folks :) I have noticed that grin technology do a 25 amp controller for the Ezee, but looking at the pictures it seems to have different connections to mine. It would be a perfect upgrade if it would fit https://www.ebikes.ca/c3625-ez.html

Upgrade from my Ezee V2 kit

Hiya all. I have a dilemma. After 30 years of hard cycling my knees are knackered, so I have been getting out on my Ezee converted bike (48V) and using it on throttle only. It's good fun but it does struggle a bit on the steep hills I have around here. So I have been looking at more powerful...

Thanks again I have done something totally out of character and took a gamble on a crowd funded project. I have ordered a Mate X 750w

    Battery Dilemma

Would you have any idea at what low voltage the BMS is likely to cut power? I usually run it down to 47v which leaves 2 battery lights left. Just wondering how much further it would go if I ran it right out. I know it varies from battery to battery though.

    Battery Dilemma

Hiya all, I have an ezee conversion kit and a 48v battery (not ezee) which is coming up to 5 years old now. Back in Oct I busted up my ankle and could do very little walking, so instead I have been riding everywhere on electric power and a little peddling. The battery has done 1000's of miles...

    Adding Disk Brakes

I’ve gone for the cable brakes. I need a cheap fix as it’s only an old clunker but I need something that actually stops me. I have a new bike coming in the spring and don’t want to spend a fortune on this one :)

    Adding Disk Brakes

The BB7 looks good and cheaper. I know nothing about disk brakes, are these any good? Or as good as the Tektro? I think I will stick with 160 mm as that's what the fork manufacturers recommend

    Adding Disk Brakes

That's great :) So basically, my front wheel came with a 180mm disk and I can buy a 20mm adaptor which would fit onto my forks allowing me to use the bigger disk. :)
