    A new cargo bike

http://www.carqon.com/ Only a 3D image for the moment but to be distributed by Babboe I love the steampunk headlight in the door! A question for our legal experts - there is a seat, what is the law on carrying a passenger? I know that children get carried in cargo bikes but have never seen...

    Strome e-bikes!

No both versions are available. I think that there are probably more s-pedelec versions imported into the UK and used illegally than pedelec versions.

News: Gocycle launches entry level model for North America on Kickstarter

Thorpe adds: “The GS model is designed and specced for the North American e-bike market. We don’t have plans to introduce the GS into Europe any time soon, but it certainly is an exciting and compelling e-bike proposition...." So we can say: - There will be a grey market - One day they will...

How long have you had your bike for?

The motor will last for as long as you look after it - keep out water for example. The battery maybe a couple of years if you are charging from empty every day. So don't worry about spares. You will be able to replace everything on your bike with parts from elsewhere.

    BBS02 Top Speed

I obtained 45 km/h at a cadence of around 75-85 with an unrestricted GSM "250W" running at 37 V x 17 Amps = 629 W (470 W at the wheel) on flattish ground. That was in 5th and 6th gear not top - 46:11 is beyond me these days on all but downhill or with strong wind in the back :( I am now...

    Number Two

I've been assembling my own PCs for a few years so I know quite a bit about bulging and leaking caps! "But for smoothing, bypassing, or decoupling applications like in power supplies, the capacitors work additionally as AC resistors to filter undesired AC components from voltage rails. " I...

    Thoughts on Carrera Crossfire-E

Very useful on ramps beside stairs when the pannier is full of shopping. The Vélodyssée has stairs at Hendaye, which is a reminder that cycle routes are designed by civil engineers not bike riders... o_O

    Giant Road E+ 1 Statistics..

Strava doesn't interest me for "I'm faster than you" or times but for the stats on power and gradients. I haven't used it and probably won't because my Watt meter and Oruxmaps give me the information I need to calculate if my battery will take me where I need to go. And especially if it will...

    Number Two

It wasn't a capacitor I said condenser because I tried to see what it was on wikipedia, apparently I failed. It was a composant that looks like an old school chewing gum or a "berlingot". Bottom row, center right. Caps are top left. I know yellow = +12V and black = Gnd it was connected...

    Update: - mid motor install

What about wear on the aluminum ring instead of the steel one? I think I might go for one of their adaptors and use a Trutativ steel chainring in either 44 or 42.

I love lipo! OK I may have said that a couple of times... The Graphene packs may be more expensive and slightly bulkier but: They charge faster They stay balanced Cells are within 0.01V They don't puff. At all! Charge or discharge. I will have to try a run with them in series to see how much...

My Bike is the Most Efficient

Today's ride 7.58 Wh... That is 1 Wh better than the other day! Oh and 1259 m elevation gain over 61.54 km... I would have to come and test on your route d8veh in order to compare bike efficiency. Mine is heavier that yours! :p

Vello Bike+ lightweight folder - self charging

Damn, and you just bought a nuclear reactor from EDF! Here you could have the unwashed masses put to some real use - providing free electricity by just riding a bike! ROTFLMAO, 100% self charging! Wish I had thought of that...

    Update: - mid motor install

You don't feel the step when you are in a situation that needs it. My 11-32 got some testing and is enough. More testing this week and I can either go to an 11-34 or put in a 42 tooth chainwheel. Do you have a link for your chainwheel? Bafang and GSM compatible?
