    Brexit, for once some facts.

The EU grew too fast because the UK pushed for it for years. I wonder why? Would it have anything to do with weakening the influence of some of the other countries? Was it a mandate from Washington D.C.?

    Number Two

I'm pretty sure the battery was unplugged, cap discharging? But I was not concentrating and the lights had gone off in the stairwell and... well any way my stupid error. In any case is seems that I have fried the internal PAS of my GSM, I tried with another known working controller and no dice...

    E-bike & battery life span?

You will use brake pads/liners/whatever because of the extra weight. I ride up and down steepish hills, there isn't much flat terrain here and my battery is starting to show wear after 18 months and +4000 km.

A rare piece of history - Swizzbee

You are really trying to make me regret I don't live in the UK or what? ;) That is giving it away even with the battery issue!

    Brexit, for once some facts.

From the Guardian: That said, there is a lot of guff talked by some in the leave camp about how being unshackled from the EU will enable Britain to break into markets that have hitherto been closed. The notion that Britain has been prevented from exporting to China, India or any other part of...

    Number Two

Yes I read your post on ES before I started but I think I may have plugged the brake sensor into PAS plug by accident... No, the battery wasn't plugged in so just the juice from the controller made the spark. I'll look at it in the light of day when I get up in the afternoon.

    Number Two

Houston we have a problem... So I decided to install the hidden wire brake switch and not being concentrated had a plug error moment... Tiny spark, no more PAS. More mucking about with tiny cheap wires with cr...y insulation tomorrow then. I was hoping to be riding :(

Price increases, has anyone come across any since Friday?

Leave it trex, he has to be right, that is his thing. Isn't that a new trend in the UK, people being right when all logic proves them wrong? I don't think his understanding of legal French texts is very good in any case.

New Battery Case for my eBrompton

Coming home it is an issue... My Li-ion battery sags 3 to 4 Volts up that hill which means if I have ridden a few extra km in the day it packs it in on the way back home. Oh I get back up to 36-37 Volts on the way back down, very useful! I think LiPo must have been much heavier 5 years ago? My...

Price increases, has anyone come across any since Friday?

It does both, take for example assembling and selling pedelecs ... Social security (micro regime) and income tax on profit come to 25%. The RSI (traditional social security) is 43.55%... Which is why many artisans are up in arms about this regime. You are also outside the VAT system...

Of course you can! You create a new structure and transfer the activity and equipment to it as capital, this has many advantages (translated from the AFE): The second option is for the entrepreneur to sell his business to a company that he creates simultaneously. In this case, the shareholding...

New Battery Case for my eBrompton

Is there a 18650 based battery that doesn't sag more than 0.7 V and which costs 12.50€ an Ah? A 48 V battery that breaks down into 8 Ah bricks but which can be assembled into a 16 or 24 Ah one when more range is needed? Those continue to be the advantages of LiPo along with short charging...

    Another 20" wheeled e-trike

I see you have old style strap in pedals so you can wear ordinary running shoes, no issues with feet slipping out? Not that I am sure I can still bend down that far to tighten the straps :( Now that I am finishing Number Two I am thinking about a trike again...

Things have changed a lot recently. You can set up an auto-entrepreneur business via the web in about 20 minutes. Yes you are limited to 3000 € a month turnover but for kick starting a business that is to be evolved into a private company it has made things a lot easier. When I started out I was...

Could the Galaxy note 7 fiasco, spark a price rise in Samsung's 18650 cells?

It will have an impact on the image of high quality their cells have. Panasonic has good QC too: Note these are "safe" 18650 cells and not dangerous LiPo...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

My sister left me a set of drink coasters with aboriginal designs last time she was over. There is a huge "100% Australian made" marking on each side of the box. Maybe your trade deal with Australia will mean technology transfer enabling you to get back into printing Marmite labels? :D
