Hi all

Sadly letting her go as space, expanding family and finances require

The unique Swizzbe with mid drive and chain driving a differential integrated into rear hub

Perfect. Amazing actually, condition. Battery is only degraded thing , it's good for about 15 to 20 miles tops.

Shimano x9 and magura hydro brakes. Top end stuff at the time.

36v and 270w motor with belt drive

Very comfortable ride, gets you speed very fast indeed. Doesn't feel like any other bike I've ridden

And personally I think it looks the bomb. I've had more random stranger offer to buy it than anything else I've ever owned.

I'd like it to go to a good home more than I want top dollar. It's feels a bit like being forced to re home a pet !

All original paperwork as well - you for a lot when you spent 3k on a bike a decade ago!

Anyway open to offers either here or pm

Happy to answer any questions that I can

Cheers
Kirstin

:( I wish I had a decent job I would already be on the train to come and pick it up...

Keep it you will regret it later.

A rare and unique gem for some lucky person, quite unlike any other e-bike.

I would love it but n+1 more is difficult. What about a museum? Some do keep working kit working.

I was hoping to get offers and sell in a similar manner it came to me but...

I've had a stab at flecc formula. Starting at 3k and taking 80% off to get 600 and then taking cost of a new battery (250)

Gets to 350 GBP

Does that seem reasonable?

More than reasonable. Of course I would have to double that amount to come and pick it up :(

I still think you should find a place for it and keep it. Or fix the battery issue and put it on an auction site you would probably get your £600+

I have my own rare bike:

Pretty good nick, has been intensively played with but was fortunately hidden from my little brother  a Dutch collector valued it at 380€ a few years back or roughly what you want for the Swizzbee! Now if I had the original box... http://picclick.ca/Vintage-Mt-Japan-Tin-B-O-Highway-Patrol-Motorcycle-152264315257.html

Want to trade? ;) It's electric! :D

Ok I have an offer for 250 through local rag which I will take....... But I'd rather it went to someone who'll appreciate it !

So any takers at 250 ?

Going.....going....

You are really trying to make me regret I don't live in the UK or what? ;)

That is giving it away even with the battery issue!

Even I'm tempted now.

It is worth buying just to squirrel it away somewhere.
Go on, you know you want to!
It's a work of art and we'll never see the like again. I'd have it if I was a bit younger but it doesn't make sense to squirrel things away at my age.
Dave.
