I'm wondering if you un-short the two wires, and put them back where they go it might run properly.

I suppose the trade body"s where happy with the no throttle, because it hides the battery range. If you gave the people mopeds that they can ride with no helmets/reg they would be in moped heaven.

    Kalkhoff vs KTM

Well they say mid-drives eat your chain and sprockets.I did this to a cheap MTB chain set. No electric just pulling away from a standstill in top gear.Don't do it folks.

Carry a passenger on my bike

The first is a gas less mig.a mig with gas would be better. The second one is a arc welder, which is cheaper to run(you only buy the rods, gasless mig wire is expensive.and a mig with gas you need wire and gas.)A mig is easier to use for a beginner. It is hard to weld thin steel with a arc welder.

    E-marked bicycle tyres

Just reading the M.S.V.A manual again.Fist item is E marks.I skim past it every time.I see the word E mark and think back to when I took an off road bike in for its M.O.T.The tester said nice tyres but it doesn't matter what they look like. They must have a E mark. But the manual does say no e mark.
