    Brexit, for once some facts.

You could have used then the example of the USA selling arms to Saudi Arabia who in turn uses them on hospitals in Yemen. In my reply I indicated that once the Argentinians started using their Exocets on the British Navy France immediately stopped supplying them thus breaking a running arms...

    Swept back Handlebars (Design specs)

Which way do bar ends go? At the moment I have moved to 23° sweep back from a "normal" MTB riser bar, if I had more room (longer frame) I think I would go to 47°.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

In fact (the thread is about facts) they had previously equipped the Argentinian armed forces with Exocets, they didn't sell them with the explicit goal of them being used against the British. And when the Argentinians pressured for more they refused to supply them. "the Royal Navy had 15...

    Internet Question

There is concrete wall then there is concrete wall... Concrete from the 1920s is some parts of the world is impenetrable by radio waves, I tried. That house was therefore cabled with cat 5 and you had to go to the window to use the phone. The clay the Romans used to make the bricks in the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Can't prove anything about staying? Is that the North Pole of Mars you are writing from? Trading without barriers, jobs not at risk of leaving for the continent, whole industries staying in the UK. Of course there is proof. If the UK participated in the EU instead of trying to destroy it the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That isn't an EU problem, each country has a sovereign parliament, it is a national problem. Fantasy ideas you may have read in the UK tabloids about "getting sovereignty back" are just that, pure fantasy, you can't get back what you haven't given away... France chases down corrupt politicians...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

BS, Italy is weak because of corruption. Spain is weak because of corruption, Greece is weak because of corruption... Now that we have a corrupt government in the US watch how that works out for them.

    Internet Question

I think you will find it has something to do with the walls of your house, a reinforced concrete structural wall will stop your signal. I used to live in a house that was made partly from Roman bricks (yes from the days of the empire...) and those killed any kind of signal. You also have to...

    Recumbent motor options.

I am currently investigating a trike myself and have removed KMX from my shortlist because they are seriously under spec for a daily use vehicle. Lowest price for a reasonable quality new trike is AZUB from the Czech Republic. The second hand market is very limited except for western Germany...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Unfortunately we are in an age where any idiot can deny any fact and shout down people defending the truth with "alternative fact". One of those idiots is in the White House others may be at large...

    BMS Low Voltage Cutout

My LVC set to 31 V but there is really nothing left below 33.5 V. I just switch to assist level 0 and keep the LCD and the lights on. Often the battery will come back up to about 34-35 V which is just enough for a short burst at assistance level 1 for the last hill before home...

Help us build a better Ebike battery

Who says I don't have a BMS? Mine is in the charger. On another thread I have been talking about the "powerful" BMS in my Android tablet. It isn't as powerful as it could be is my conclusion. Samsung have confirmed that the physical constraints of a stupid race to slimness made them install...

    Bafang Max Drive bikes

I still think £1100 for a motor (with accessories), battery and frame isn't a bad deal for a "kit". I'm sure some of the other bits taken off the bike will sell on ebay or elsewhere for 5€ a pop.

Help us build a better Ebike battery

16 Ah (20 Ah nominative) of 37 V LiPo, no BMS, charges in about an hour with 2 x 250 W chargers behind a 540 W power supply or a 12 V car battery. Slightly over 79 km range on a bad day depending on the direction of the wind, the number of glasses of red wine... +88 km on a good day. An hour is...
