    HANDLEBAR EXTENDER

I had mine high but lowered it again because, despite this bike being much bigger than the last one, it is a 47 cm frame where I need a 54 cm one. Raising the bars brought them back too close to the seat and I wasn't comfortable. All those years of riding with drop bars is also a psychological...

    Hydrogen Powered bikes

The French version from down the road has tackled the filling up issue by selling only to la poste. I imagine that Air Liquide will be setting up mini filling stations in the post offices that are equipped with the bike. Will they go on to make those filling stations open to the public?

    Snatchy BBS02 500

Which is why I chose the GSM with external controller. At one point I was running 18 Amps - 740 Watts battery hot off the charger. Now I find 16-17 Amps is plenty. Yes you can reprogram your BBS02 to make it smoother and have up to 9 levels depending on your LCD.

Conversion for daily 20 mile commute

No you change the whole rear wheel freewheel or cassette makes no difference other than... How many gears? There are rear hub motors with cassettes but the limit is an 8 speed cassette without having to stretch the frame too much. Freewheel hubs are pretty much limited to 7 speed. You need less...

    Battery DIY.

I would go with a more powerful charger so you can charge at 1C even if you decide you want to get some more/bigger capacity ones. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/multistar-high-capacity-4s-5200mah-multi-rotor-lipo-pack.html Three of those in series will give you about 4 Ah and as they are quite...

Hauling heavy loads in steep hills.

In fact the EU agrees with you and are working on a new class of pedelec for solving just this problem which also affects delivery bicycles/tricycles. I read that on bike europe last year but can't find the reference maybe @flecc remembers? From memory: pedelec limited to 25 km/h but motor up to...

Actually prefabs have moved along a bit since WW2. http://inhabitat.com/12-gorgeous-prefab-homes-assembled-in-just-three-days-or-less/irelands-first-shipping-container-home-2/ But I guess to save money the wicked witch of the north will be using the plans from the archives. They probably still...

    Battery DIY.

One word: sag. If you try pulling 15+ Amps continuous from a slightly tired 10.4 Ah 36 V battery over a 3.4 km climb by the time you reach the top voltage sag will be between 4 and 6 V... Your controller will cut out because the voltage will be below 3.1 V per cell. This is real world...

    Derestrict Yes or No ?

You will lose range and gain fun. On the road you will have trouble with drivers not appreciating your new found wings you have to ride like you were on a moped (you are).

No they have money, 3 cars, big house with pool and large garden with view, a velosolex pedelec even! So they are used to their comfort they were probably looking for a "nice" hotel for a couple with son aged 6. Over 7,000€ for the week between Chistmas and the new year was what they told us...
