    Very lightweight e-bikes

I know riders with sub 6 kg bikes! they're amazingly surreal to lift up, they only use them for time trials and hill climbs.

New Bosch high performance motor unit.

My lower powered Hub compatible Bosch gets through a battery pretty quickly. I bet the higher powered ones are even worse especially if a rider has less input to give than me. Even my low power set-up has me riding faster than top-end sporting cycling for short periods whilst mine and the...

Ebikes shops in derbyshire area ?

I've visited their trade shop myself. IMO the best place to view a Juicy bike.

    Will I be faster?

I would say so, or you have the option to put a lot less effort in for a similar time to your unassisted times, but it will be hard to put so little effort in I imagine.

    Will I be faster?

With that bike with the dual drive Sram gears I'd think it will have gearing high enough to allow you to pedal up to the modded assist speed of 33 mph. Hard to give a definite figure on speed, at least 5 mph faster average speed perhaps.

    Will I be faster?

Easily much faster, you'll need a battery top-up at work though, so you'll need two chargers if you don't want to carry it to work every day.

New Bosch high performance motor unit.

I'm hoping to ride my Bosch KTM in nothing higher than the half power tour setting on my next few rides to see what sort of mileage I can get from the 400 w/h battery. A spare battery in the pannier isn't noticeable in the pannier when on full power. After just one ride my current thinking is...

    Amateur Radio

ON SSB it has never really died, the skip is good at the moment and most operators are both friendly and professional, most activity is on the 26 channels between the old 40 and the UK 40 channels, the SSB calling channel is 27.555 mhz. A Mint Ham international Multimode 3 sold on eBay recently...

New Bosch high performance motor unit.

I used 80% of my 288 w/h Bosch battery today in just 11 miles, making the last 20% last the 11 miles home was interesting. I'd have been much better off on an ordinary bike for those last 11 miles. I'd forgotten I had the small battery fitted, even the bigger battery would have required a...

Hello i am Neil from Lakeland

For me the wind resistance seems to be off-set by the fact that you're covering the ground more quickly, so the time factor saving evens things out for me.

Hello i am Neil from Lakeland

I don't find that at all, I was rarely able to ride above the assist limit, so I just go a lot faster for a similar energy expenditure.

Out in the flat then. This range predictor works well for me and my bike http://www.electricbikerange.info/Electric_bike_range.html So perhaps you can have a play with some routes you'd do, it only has 10 way points, but seems to work OK.

Hello i am Neil from Lakeland

I've flattened one in 19 miles, I imagine my bike will roll a bit better and I imagine my output will be higher than yours. Where exactly are you based? and will you be riding Hardknott pass and Wyrnose pass? some climbs will easily consume half your battery, if not a bit more. I've not ridden...

    Riese & Muller Delite 2

Thanks Martin, even better than the older model, smart. I really like that Rohloff chain tensioner, very neat indeed.
