News: Power-assisted cycle trailer boosts electric mobility

Niche market product with limited utility for me (who has a trailer, soon two...). It doesn't help the rider it just makes the load "neutral" to pull so the rider will still have to get him/herself up hills. As stated useful for inner city deliveries - London yes, Wellington no...

    Help, please with my Oxygen...

That (32 km/h) was about the top speed of my hub motor bike no matter what I set the speed limit to. That same motor exists in a 42 km/h version with a 17 Amp controller. Maybe this is the issue you are seeing? You may be at the top speed for the motor mounted on your bike?

    a 48v 36v Question

Couldn't rate "funny" and "informative" so you got an "agree"... I completely agree but the OP is talking about 36 to 48 V range and there is not much risk there. Marc S of electrictrike fame, probably one of the people d8veh is thinking about above, melted his nylon clutch gears before...

    Lipo balance charger recommends.

iCharger are the best, the Turnigy Reaktor 300 is either a re-branding or a clone because the software is identical.

    a 48v 36v Question

No it is the controller that is at risk or decides which voltage you can use. A motor is just a bunch of magnets and some copper wire wound around a core. My GSM with external controller can be run at any voltage I care to use and now that it is out of guarantee Woosh doesn't care :D

How many flying fish does she have? Is there enough parchment to write the secret codes on? Will the ink dry in time? Don't worry they are all programmed to hit selected targets in the USA. Well during the last test they tried...

But you are French! I went out with a lady from near there a couple of times, nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Only a short drive to get your cheap cigarettes and Spanish wine! :)

"Get an electric bike." They said...

Oh! A nice LiPo fire in an office :D Somebody didn't look after their battery! See how those battery boxes are designed to direct the fire down and away from the rider?

New 26" XF08C rear wheel kit with 13AH Battery, cassette fitting, easy wiring, £499

The motor pulls well even at 15 Amps you just need the right gearing to help it along. I would suggest a 48-38 chainring with a 26" wheel. I did most of my riding in assistance level 4 of 5 so 7.5 Amps and 270 W nominative. I hope to put this motor in a trike later in the year I will be using...

New 26" XF08C rear wheel kit with 13AH Battery, cassette fitting, easy wiring, £499

I can confirm 32 km/h, there is a faster wind version which should do about 40 km/h with a 17 Amp controller. A question for Woosh: I have seen those controllers sold with a battery support do they exist "naked" if you already have a battery case?

New 26" XF08C rear wheel kit with 13AH Battery, cassette fitting, easy wiring, £499

You might have to stretch the frame a bit they say 142 mm wide and 8-10 speed. The freewheel version is a very snug fit from my experience but the design has changed slightly since I got mine. http://www.mxusebikekit.com/proshow.aspx?cateid=68&productsid=195

still not to sure what to make of bosch ebike system

I have fast twitch muscles and at over 60 have no problem spinning pedals at 80 rpm all day long without breaking a sweat (everybody sweats at +30°C like today). Walking, I am able to sustain 6 km/h for 8 hours with a 1/2 hour break every 2 hours. Because of asthma I can't go very far on a...
