Can I limit the power used by the q128c with the S-LCD3?

With the Q128 it is easy - look at the marking on the motor and if it says "500W" you are nicked...

    "Let's be careful out there."

Honza, the Azub marketing guy was bitten by a dog when he did the solar race to China on a trike. You really are at eye to eye height with big dogs when riding one... :( Maybe I'll build a dog food distributor with an emergency dog attack button on the bars to distract them? :D

    Concerning mirrors...

Ah yeah, wrong side of the road... I also have a Cycle Star 80 - 903/1 which can be mounted either side. Doesn't vibrate either which was your requirement. They make the Cycle Star 80 - 903/2 which plugs right into the end of the bar but I like mine a little further out.

    BBS01b 250w chainrings

They did make a 42-48 double with the same offset as the bling ring but 6 tooth difference! What were they thinking? 42 is about as small as you can go to get the offset right. After that a grinder and BB shell modifications with spacer to compensate on the other side is the way forward. For a...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/may/21/defence-secretary-unveils-strategy-to-protect-uk-satellites Now that is a very funny read! Is he a real person? Just asking. No EU membership = no Galileo if I understand correctly. So all those mysterious UK spy satellites you will be paying...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

You know the shortest distance between two points is a straight line Eddie? :p That helped me see the kind of places you might have steep climbs. That combined with the post on another thread showing the width of roads in the UK makes me happy to ride where I do. :)

Range on a New 500mAh Bosch

And me 250 km! Why? My best friend a days ride away as well as youngest son. My eldest son 2 days ride away. Middle son 3 days ride... A day being 6 hours at just over 40 km/h average speed (on the flat) = vélomobile with assistance and about 1.8 kWh of battery.

    For all you sailors

Had (what is left of it is in a yard somewhere on the Loire in Nantes) an LB15, the first boat designed by Yves Loday (Barcelona mixed Tornado Gold). I was a bit heavy for it but once I got the Mylar main I could hold it in a breeze. Never got the rudders sorted - they used to pop up at speed...

    9-Speed Freewheel

Here is a couple of the DNP 9 speeds: Stack height = 40.5mm This would make a perfect 8 speed 13-34 just by removing the 14 tooth and a spacer and diminishing the height of the freewheel body to about 37mm. Of course you would use a 9 speed shifter and limit shifting to 8 gears on the...

    For all you sailors

I agree on the size issue but Darts are very uncomfortable to sail with that sharp deck/hull joint, memories of heel to shoulder bruising after coming unstuck on the trapeze once... I have never sailed a 16 so can't comment on its load carrying capability but like my cat it has a comfy...

    9-Speed Freewheel

Unfortunately Sunrace don't publish stack heights. They also don't reply to end user e-mail... They are much more OEM orientated than DNP who are lovely people.
