Bafang kit on Big Slick Roux DeRestrict

@Lance01, whoops, ignore the last couple of sentences in my last message. Just looked at your HMI and it doesn't have an lcd display :p Try the programming cable ;)

Bafang kit on Big Slick Roux DeRestrict

Don't quote me, but there's a strong chance that you can use the same programming cable and software that is used to program the BBSxx series of controllers. You could pick one up off eBay and give it a go. If it works, there's plenty of parameters to tweak. Maybe someone can also confirm if...

Does the display connect to the harness via a green 5 pin male Higo connector?

    Pedal assist lag/speed wrong

Might be worth Googling the controller manufacturer and model number, to see if it's possible to reprogram it with some sort of programming cable.

Bafang BBS01/B clicking noise when rotating pedals by hand

Mine clicks every time I stop pedalling under power, but I know this originates from the one way bearing pawls. My click may not be related to your problem, but I would just ride the bike and if the noise doesn't bother you, don't worry ;)

Totally agree with @anotherkiwi. A BBSHD is overkill for what you want

    Sanyo NCR vs Samsung 29E

18 amps should be ok, but as I mentioned in post #2 above, I pretty much killed a 4P pack running 25 amps.

    Sanyo NCR vs Samsung 29E

Just to give you a heads up @krzychoniusz, before you make a decision and spend your hard earned cash. All battery pack cells deteriorate with use and age. You will experience this deterioration as voltage sag, which is where the voltage drops by a certain amount when the battery is subjected to...

    Sanyo NCR vs Samsung 29E

You'll kill the cells in either of those battery packs, unless it's made with at least 5P. I ruined a Samsung 29E 13S4P pack within a couple of years, running a lesser powered BBS02. If you've got the budget, go for a pack using Samsung 30Q cells or equivalent. It's false economy if you don't...

    Buying from em3ev?

Have bought expensive items from both vendors and both very trust worthy. But I bought stuff from EM3EV years ago, when imports slipped through the custom duty net regularly. Not a lot gets through these days, as the couriers have tightened up their procedures. I had a defective clutch in a MAC...

Anyone own a SONY NW-A45 Walkman?

The problem with hearing the gaps between tracks varies from DAP to DAP. A poorly implemented gapless system is most noticeable on albums such as Pink Floyd's The Wall and Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. My current Fiio X3 does gapless perfectly on these albums, but as I want to move on to...

Anyone own a SONY NW-A45 Walkman?

    band brake

Agree with flecc. Light years away from the progressive braking a hydraulic system offers. I remember mine tended to lock the rear wheel with hardly any extra brake lever travel. Horribly dangerous in wet conditions. A lesson learned

BBS02B vs BBSHD mostly on flats

You'll be fine with a BBS02. Might be worth fitting a 42T Bling Ring to it though.
