    Freego Battery Charger

It really needs to be both a photo and exact sizes for help here, or simply go into an electronics store and pay to have it replaced. At worst a 30 minute job for anyone a bit DIY-ish!!! The important bit is the polarity, which should be marked on the charger, draw the shop's attention to...

    Amp options

It is important that the board is rated at a higher amps than your battery is capable of, this has little to do with just the voltage, as you appear to believe. Whatever amps your can supply (this is a factor of the type and rating of the cells used, and how many have been placed in sets of...

Help! My pedelec suddenly got faster (SameBike JG20, YSDX20, XW-20ZC) - long text!

Lowering the needed pedal speed with gearing improvements, would usually save some power, as you can "keep up" better....the parts are not expensive. I have a top gear with 11 teeth at the rear on my previous bike, and 46 on the crank. I was going to change the crank and then I bought a new...

Help! My pedelec suddenly got faster (SameBike JG20, YSDX20, XW-20ZC) - long text!

Thats a lot of info, some of which goes well over my head. There are plenty of controllers on ebay, that would appear to be a better fit for you. Ones with an LCD dispplay, often allow programming things on the display. Make sure you get the instructions before buying! You could try removing...

Help! My CX3 needs new disc pads

I did the same after Sunlight destroyed a plastic part (the adjuster) of my front brake caliper. Which I repaired with metal parts I made and replaced it back on my bike after a few days. The cheap caliper I bought worked well, and funnily enough, it even has the same brake pads as my originals...

Help! Can anyone help me identify this Powabyke model please?

Do charge the battery occasionally, otherwise it will be useless and may represent most of the bike's value today. If the charger LED remains on green, it is probably already in trouble, check that the voltage is well above 28 volts. Below that it will refuse to charge anymore, though a good...

    cycling helmet with sun visor

Vintage style motor cycle helmets can have a big sun shield and they are not only still made, but are also "stronger" than most Push Bike Helmets.... A friend of mine (in the 1960s) came off and slid down the road on his face, the sun shield save dmost of his face, particulary his nose, from any...

Replacing a spoke - I thought it was easy!!

I cannot help with the spoke, except to say that you probably need to loosen all, undo the ones that get in the way completely, and carefully put them back. But spoke adjustment was always a skilled job, which I have never attempted, because of that. Maybe some Youtube videos might help? Look...

    CAR RACK FOR 2 E-BIKES?

That makes a significant difference, but I am completely unaware of what such a device can weight wise handle, including the rear door of course..... Overloading the rear door and damaging it, would be a hugely expensive repair. A friend of mine who bought one for normal luggage, not bikes...

    CAR RACK FOR 2 E-BIKES?

Two things you need to do:- 1) What is the allowed roof load on your car? Many cars have 50Kilos or less as a design max. 2) Even with the battery removed, 2 of almost any e-bike could exceed the load possibly allowed. 3) I personally found over 10 years ago (2004), that placing two normal bikes...

No gear shift indicator on Bosch Intuvia

I may be sticking my neck out, but on (relatively!) modern bikes that I have owned and used, the gear indicator has been mechanical and on the gear shift "grip"..... Does Nexus not have a "grip" available? Or have you not looked yet? Such things are often available on ebay!! Best of luck Andy

    Battery info please

They don't say what the voltage is, but maybe something like this could be adapted:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/e-plus-electric-bike-20-inch-wheels/113782402488?hash=item1a7df5adb8:g:2yIAAOSws8RdArKh Are you a good DIYer? Andy

    Battery info please

I could not find a bike with the same name on ebay UK, are you sure you have the name correctly spelt? Furthermore, you should keep an eye on ebay, as some thieves sell stuff there, if your bike is so seldom in the UK, you might catch a thief!! The police will help you if you see it on ebay...

    Battery info please

Excellent and well done. Photos are excellent!! Basically, you cannot have too much info!! :-) :-) :-) :-) I am sure that here somewhere here is someone who knows your Bike/Battery combination. Maybe with a short adapter cable, it can be used on another bike, one waiting for an owner, but...

    Battery info please

I am pretty sure that clear photos of the battery, its connections and that of the charger and connector will help further, as will detailing nominal voltage and current output! Try that please! regards Andy

    Interesting seat suspension device.

The problem with it that I see, is the front angles more upwards, at every jolt. Directly in an area (where all men are a bit differently sensitive), but one has to be careful. Furthermore there is a blood supply and nerves, that some bad saddles already press on "underneath" in our "sitting...
