Would appreciate advice. I have just had my e- bike stolen :( It is an older, 5 year old model, from France, called watsup. No longer made. I have had the battery in my bag. The battery just been refurbished a month ago - by "Jimmy the Legend"-found him here on this site. It is as perfect as it gets. Now as the bikes are no longer made, does not fit any other bike. My "amateur" question is, forgive me, no expert, so is there any way that anybody would benefit from this battery-I believe some people convert bikes, can it be used. It has the charger too. OR if I buy an ebike, of course does not fit, but possible somehow to "connect" this battery to any type of bike? It would be such a shame to be wasted. It is (24v, 14Ah GA cells). Thank you!

I am pretty sure that clear photos of the battery, its connections and that of the charger and connector will help further, as will detailing nominal voltage and current output!
Try that please!

Thanks Andy. Added pics.
It is (24v, 14Ah GA cells).Maya
Excellent and well done. Photos are excellent!!

Basically, you cannot have too much info!! :) :) :) :)

I am sure that here somewhere here is someone who knows your Bike/Battery combination.
Maybe with a short adapter cable, it can be used on another bike, one waiting for an owner, but with no battery!! The style is fairy common.
Or you may find a buyer either for the battery here or on ebay.....
As its a Li-ion, keep it at least to about half charged, to safeguard it, till decisions can be made....Using a voltmeter will tell you the SOC (state of Charge) Its not difficult, many here can guide you..
Remember that the charger is also worth reasonable money, usually best sold together....

Best of luck
Andy

I could not find a bike with the same name on ebay UK, are you sure you have the name correctly spelt?
Furthermore, you should keep an eye on ebay, as some thieves sell stuff there, if your bike is so seldom in the UK, you might catch a thief!!
The police will help you if you see it on ebay.
Furthermore, even if it is not yours, maybe it will take your battery and you are mobile again for little money!
Add a rear light under the saddle, one with a remotely controlled vibration alarm as well as a big chain. The rear light alarms are under 15 UK pounds each. USB charging...

Andy this is brilliant help. I am SO getting a light with alarm.-for next bike if and when I manage to get one. Police aware, "parked" opposite a bank, got CCTV, had good lock, but looks I need a "chain". Looking on ebay-keeping an eye, also set alert on findthatbike.co.uk The bike is "unique", was folding, brand spelling is:
Watt's up S2
No longer made, but this french site still sells the battery, fits other bikes, again not common.

Paid £250 to re-cell, barely 2 months, few rides, its excellent, I have looked at bikes, some sold without battery, but have no idea how this battery could be "connected" to a non Watt's up S2. Hope get bit more help, or someone here may want the battery and able to use on another bike. Thanks again!

They don't say what the voltage is, but maybe something like this could be adapted:-
Are you a good DIYer?

In theory the battery can be used on any Chinese 24v bike. I've never seen that connection system before, so not much chance of finding a bike that it fits, but a hobbyist might be able to do something with it.
