    Battery cutting out

It maybe the case that the connections inside your charger plug do not match the ones on your new battery socket. You will need a meter to check this.

Hailong 48Volt 17 AH ebike battery cuts out when power is applied

Nice one, looks like you are making good progress. You will prob. find that one group of cells at 3.3v will remain lower than the rest when the charger led goes green. You can then use the 5v phone charger to bring them up to the same voltage. Make sure you monitor this, or the cells can go over...

Hailong 48Volt 17 AH ebike battery cuts out when power is applied

Your battery is most likely out of balance because the voltage of the charger is to low. It may be possible to adjust this if you can open it, post a clear photo of the inside. You will also need an old phone charger to bring up the voltage of the cell group at 3.3v.

Hailong 48Volt 17 AH ebike battery cuts out when power is applied

Do you have a link to the battery you have? Continuous discharge rate is controlled by the BMS, nothing to do with the cell capacity. 2500mAh would suggests Chinese cells, so if you are running a BBSHD they are working pretty hard, which may explain your problem.

Help! Battery not charging after Winter (err. and a bit)

Unfortunately, if cells fall below around 2.5v for any period of time they generally suffer irreversible damage. If the voltage was a little higher, say 2v, I would suggest gentle charging each group manually with a mobile phone charger, but this could be hazardous in your case. A real shame as...

Help! Battery not charging after Winter (err. and a bit)

I'm nor sure if leaving the charger connected could have caused this total drain, hopefully someone else could verify this.

Oh dear, that doesn't look good. If that's a true reading your battery is toast.:(Are you sure your meter is OK?

    Help with new controller.

It deff. sounds like there is a fault within the controller. I've not experienced any of the issues you describe with the KT controllers I've had. Hope your seller sorts it out.

stator and controller bafang mid drive

i like to use one of these, rather than a cordless impact driver. Sometimes the large handle will give enough purchase to loosen those screws without any striking with hammer. It's most important touse the right size bit, otherwise you will damage the cheap Chinese screw head, which will make...

    Powacycle Milan 2 battery issue

It won't do any harm to manually re-balance the cells so they are all the same voltage, but the inbalance is not necessarily the problem. Packs can show good voltage and then sag really badly under load, esp. when using the throttle. Try this and then leave it for a few days and you will see if...

stator and controller bafang mid drive

These screws are often extremely tight to undo and need a vice and an impact driver to loosen them. From memory, they are Phillips 3 size.

Anyone know how to find a replacement battery for a Claud Butler Glide 2, or would it need all new electrics?

This battery is the same as the ones Nealh linked to, Li-on cells, but not very good value being small capacity, but UK seller should you have any problems with it...
