    This is from Schwalbe, they recommend 22mm to 24mm but the ETRTO standard says your size is ok.

    This is from Schwalbe website, you can download the graph as a PDF. https://www.schwalbe.com/en/reifenmasse What width are your new tyres? Which tire fits which rim? The inner diameter of the tire must match the rim bead seat diameter. For instance, a tire size 37-622 fits on a 622 x 19C rim.

    Confused by Mudguards...

    I use plastic covered P clips to attach a full sized mudguard to my suspension fork. The P clips go around the lower legs and the mudguard stay eyelet goes in the middle, a 5mm bolt and nut secures it. The top of the mudguard rests in the top of the fork crown, attached by a couple of zip ties...

    Here's the oil I bought. I have Rockshox Gold forks, you need two allen keys and snap ring pilers to service them. One of the bolts is inside the leg so I bought a long Allen key bit (that fits inside screwdriver handles, drills, ratchet etc).

    Confused by Mudguards...

    Some of it is to do with fashion, bikes with no mudguard eyes, and weight / aero I have full size mudguards on my bikes (stay on all year), Glasgow weather can be four seasons in one day. The cycle paths in Glasgow (East ender here) need resurfaced and the branches cut back.
