more like 10k for the basic option and 20k+ top of the range parts
They get all your juices going, but they don't tell you the cost. When you find out the cost, it's back to the hub-drive.
I can remember talking to the Haibike guy at a show ten years ago. He said that the more expensive they make the bike, the more people wanted to buy it. That was when the added £1000 to the cost after fitting a £50 dropper post to their top of the range bike.Even after getting whacked in the knackers with it, it still didn't put them off.
seems things are good down the ebike shop and cant sell them fast enough 5-6k bikes with 20 quid shitmano hubs that dont last a week ebike motor centre is over run and cant fix the fkn things fast enough.
with the Panasonic motors and the sram one coming out there will be more choice than ever next year motor wise but there wont be any big money getting splashed out on these things as there way over priced.
for about £1200 i can build a bbs hd 20ah batt sure it wont look as good but for that price and 40mph+ who cares
