ebike not working forward and backwards!

The question remains, will it fail again, with the same/similar problem in a further 600 KM or so? e.g. Is this a failure of the kit, or of the person who installed it, as it cannot be accepted as normal for either reason, can it? I personally see it sad that so often, plastic gears are STILL...

Well put! The idea is so far away from reality, that only someone on a star system far, far away might appreciate it! At first I thought it was an April fool joke that missed the deadline.... Andy

ebike not working forward and backwards!

Good that you looked and found it. Just out of interest, how old is this bike and how many miles (if you know) has it done in its lifetime? Do you now know if it can be repaired or not? Andy

ebike not working forward and backwards!

I have to admit that I do not understand your statement of "..........not working. pull the ebike backwards to make it roll, not working........" That remains a mystery for me personally!!! Check and measure your Battery voltage ? Always a good place to start. Also stae the nominal voltage as...

    Rear derailleur problems

Look on YouTube for the adjustment procedures, once the previous thoughts from others here have been checked out! In my limited experience, its usually a cable, I forget to lube mine, and then comes rust or dirt! Or both! Replace with quality versions and lube well..... Andy

Help! I zip fault starts up on switching on?

If you buy on ebay, as I mentioned before I believe, the cheap ones come slowly from the far east, the expensive ones from Europe... Usually! I have never noticed a quality difference. Its still 90% that will be the fix. On my controller, from my present bike, all the MOSFETs, no matter what...

Range not as good as I would expect from higher amp hour batteries?

E-bike displays are often wrong. Mine appears to simply show the voltage, without taking into account the current drain as I ride!! IMHO the manufactures often cannot be bothered to put a decent circuit in there. But I have no opinion either way if yours is one so affected or not. But if you...

Bosch Purion display - not waterproof?

It was unclear to me if you were you addressin my comment, if so you may have missed my mentioning the "protected" hole I left unsealed underneath the unit, and which I also used for a vacuum check after sealing up the glass and case! My LCD was incorrectly glued together at manufacturing. Maybe...

Bosch Purion display - not waterproof?

Sadly, its apparently not uncommon on many displays in heavy ran to let moisture in. It gets talked about regularly.... Many riders cover them with cling film and/or have a plastic bag or two handy. For instance, my throttle is not water proof either and needs a thin bag. I am not recommending...
