    Dangerous incidents fail.

Not yet. Ball is in the company's court. I encounter their vans regularly, over 3 years and 17,000 miles until that incident no issues, so there is no systemic issue with the company. If they respond appropriately then that will be the end of it.

New Bosch bike throttle addition possible?

Back to the question, depends on which Bosch, but a PerformanceLine upwards in Turbo is such little pedal effort and such an intuitive way to control the bike there is an outside chance she might grow to like it! Failing that I'd be happy to take it away, no charge.

    Hello from Warwick

Your commuting requirement is so short anything will do. If you have secure storage at work, then maybe let other likely uses determine what you buy. If you don't then cheap and cheerful so the other bikes get pinched first!

    Dangerous incidents fail.

Battery didn't run out for this one! A stern email has been sent! https://photos.app.goo.gl/kHwWMj7LtmxjWd926

    can i run a bafang 48v 250w bbs01 using a 36v battery?

Your 48V / 13Ah battery is 624Wh, so similar to the other bikes. Your cadence sensor bike on high assist will use more battery than a torque sensored Bosch etc, but even if it uses double there is still plenty left on that 30 mile route. I would just learn to manage the battery over the length...

    Dangerous incidents fail.

I know that feeling, although running out of battery happens more often. The one I really miss was my routine local shopping trip, which uses a back road shortcut with a right turn at a T junction with uphill approach and visibility obscured by trees. I approached the T in the right hand side...

Error 74 code? on Haibike Trek 4 low

You may have had a foot on the pedal, or a pedal in contact with something when you switched on. This prevents the torque sensor being calibrated during the motor startup. My Shimano does the same thing, leads to a W006 error. Turn off, dismount, check pedals not touching anything, turn on...

    Charging

Be as gentle as you can when at home, with time available. But on a tour, the bike including the battery is a tool doing a job, so pick the right tool. If charging time is limited, use a higher charge rate, use multiple batteries and chargers if you have them. Plan a way to succeed in your mission!

    Wisper Wayfarer m9 700Wh arrived

It's hard to use more than about 20Wh per mile in gentle terrain, so 35 miles should be no bother with the big 700Wh battery. M9 is the mid-drive version, so hill performance will be fine if gears used appropriately.

    Recommendations for bike 'phone holder

I was after something that mounted the phone without adding an extra layer over the screen, but nothing gave me the confidence to try. I may look again either when I'm forced to go Samsung to get a modern, maximum brightness screen for outdoor sunny day usability, or someone shows me what I did...

    Recommendations for bike 'phone holder

When I was looking recently, the 'quality brand name' that came up a lot is QuadLock, but bespoke cases are limited to Samsung, iPhone and not much else. Also ebay flooded with so much generic 'for quadlock' stuff I got lost and gave up. Phone is too important on my long trips to risk. If...

Help! New and in need of help.

That's useful! So something changed, it used to respect 25km/h and now it doesn't. Your speedometer works, but speed limiting no longer does. I'll pass you to the real experts now....

    Electric tricycle iwant to buy

And budget, could it be secondhand, could it be a conversion? Specialised, new electric trikes are almost all high budget. Secondhand, non-electric can be real bargains, and suitable for conversion.

Help! New and in need of help.

When you say 'harder than it usually does', do you mean harder than pas2, or harder than it used to in pas3 ? I.e. has something changed, or has it always been like this?

    Electric tricycle iwant to buy

You will need to provide a bit more information than that! About you: Age, size, weight, how much assistance is needed, whether you can provide much power via the pedals. About the riding you plan to do: Distance, steepest hills, longest hills, tarmac or off road, how much baggage needs to...

    Ebike controller wiring

The solid line in the PCB print overlay beside your S1 and S2 suggests they are electrically connected so the same, allowing a separate space for each of the two wires from the two cables. The designer allowed space for separation, the human fingers assembling the board have chosen to combine...

    KT controller compatibility with Mahle

I find a short male to female extension lead solves all the issues around access for faultfinding, and in non-fault mode, which should be most of the time, neat and reasonably weatherproof connectors have some advantages. Add extra layers of protection if concerned. We have an expert on...

    ALWAYS REPORT SCUM DRIVERS

Yes, for me it passes the test of dangerous, not careless, for two reasons in addition to the basic fast and close: (1) another road user had to take evasive action and (2) if that was me, the camera audio would have captured the special part of my vocal repertoire that is hardwired to the...

    ALWAYS REPORT SCUM DRIVERS

Number 3 is a report for me. Video clearly shows oncoming red car slowing down really early, as they realise what is about to happen, and the passing car is just inexcusably fast and close. The urban ones I'm less worried by. Lower speed, opportunity to influence outcome, and my expectation...
