    That's the spokes done

I was expecting shiny stainless steel when I needed three replacement spokes 400+ miles from home back in October, but the closest shop told me 'everything is black these days' and produced exactly the right length in matching black for my wobbly wheel. After 30 months and nearly 15,000 miles...

    36v bafang motor

I have the same! A number of 4s99p lumps of LiFePo4 18650s, which await a suitable route to recycling. For the OP I was just interested to know whether their 36V Valence option was £50 or less, which I might think of as worth a shot, or £100+ which I would probably avoid by going straight to a...

    36v bafang motor

BBS specialists can tell you for sure, but I think it will be fine with any generic two wire battery, the chemistry does not matter.

    36v bafang motor

The Valence I have are LiFePO4, and from 2008 to 2010 Smith Edison electric Transit conversions. Weight vs capacity might be an issue. Do you have pictures or model numbers?

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

Impressive level of information, much of which I had not seen before.

    Chain Jump

2000 miles is low but not unfeasibly low for cassette lifetime, depending on riding conditions, riding style etc.. Mud, hills and high assist levels could do this. Assuming same number of links in new chain, I would fit new cassette of proper quality and if problem goes away consider that the...

    Cargo bike Vogue Carry 2 | Bafang M400 | C07 | Lack of torque

Only if your cadence is at least 60 rpm. If you cannot manage cadence of 60 then the gearing is too high, so lower it enough to achieve 60, then see how it feels. If your cadence is at least 60 then the other lines of enquiry carry more weight, but there is nothing to be done for a motor that...

    Cargo bike Vogue Carry 2 | Bafang M400 | C07 | Lack of torque

80 Nm is a decent amount of torque for a 25km/h bike. I suspect the issue is heavy loads on steep hills being too much for the lowest gear the nexus gives you. As Saneagle says, you can lower the gearing, but that may then limit you at top speed. The real problem is the rather limited 307% gear...

Has anyone used Swinging Wheels stabilisers on e-bike?

This strategy seems to work quite well, but I don't know of any commercial versions. Focus on the rear wheel mechanisms, the solar and motor systems are by the by for the original question. https://www.recumbent.news/2021/05/23/the-ultimate-tilting-solar-powered-serial-hybrid-delta-trike/

Advice on correct bike size (Cube reaction pro)

I was surprised when you at 5'9" were directed to medium. I am 5'11.75", usually rounded up!, and it told me XL. Don't ruin your knees, they are worth more than any costs of swapping or adapting. Good luck!

Shipping an ebike from Stockholm to the uk

Companies have access to delivery channels not available at a sensible price to general public, which are just what's needed for a battery once the rest of the bike arrives!

Shipping an ebike from Stockholm to the uk

The issue is the battery. It counts as 'dangerous goods', so cannot be flown as cargo on a passenger flight. Simplest is often ship the bike without the battery and buy another battery in the destination country.

    Bafang Mid-drive M510 - 250 watt making clicking / clunking noise after 1,300 miles

Did hosing down involve a pressure washer? Hopefully not! I would check crank arms for tightness as well as motor mounting bolts. Pedals as well.

    Best Electric Bike Battery Option

Battery costs about 2-3p per mile then! Not too bad.

    Best Electric Bike Battery Option

Even 500 cycles at 30 miles range is 15,000 miles. How many bikes actually get that much use? As long as you are not caning your battery, just ride the bike and follow normal charging instructions.

    Best Electric Bike Battery Option

I use Shimano EC-E8004 4.6A battery chargers on my Shimano BT8014 11.8Ah batteries, which is therefore 'officially approved', and a charge rate of 0.39. The marked charge rate only applies in the 'CC' part of the charge cycle, as current is progressively reduced in the 'CV' part.
