If your referring to the Bafang bbs02 kit, then I'm not sure it will fit a carbon frame, as the BB shell is likely to be to thick. I'm hoping somebody on here with more knowledge than me can clarify this point for me.

Thanks RobF.........Had a look at those, but the full sus are 29er's and I want 27.5" I've just found a bike shop only 10 miles from me that stocks the complete range of Haibikes, Scott, and Cube, so provided they can give me a good deal, it would make sense to buy from them in case I have any...

Great news.....at last I can try out a fs e-mountain bike. Only about 1hr 20 mins drive from me, so looking forward to spending a day there in the new year.

Hardly the ruination, when it allows me, at 72 and with bad knees, to enjoy the ride quality of a beautiful frame :)

Just gone for a short test run, and everything's working as it should...:) Don't understand why it started sticking......can't have done more than 500 miles on it, and it's never been out in the wet. Anyway, thanks again for your help d8veh.

Just to add......axle turns fine both ways...so think I got lucky !! Used some wd40 and pawls now seem nice and free, so will re-assemble and see how we go..thks.

Thanks for the quick reply d8veh. I've got to own up and admit I did undo the 3 screws, but they have gone back in and tightened up ok. Couple of the pawls seem a bit sticky.....doi need a new hub, or should I try some wd40 ?
