That's complete lies. The temperature isn't any higher than when I was a kid. If anything, it's colder. 0.6 C per decade would be 2.4 deg in my lifetime, and that would be noticeable. There are two reasons for the recorded temperature increase. One is that the measurement devices are now nearer to concrete because of building expansion and deliberate relocation of the devices. There is no reason why advanced civilisation should heat the planet through waste energy. The energy falls on the planet from the Sun in accordance with the Milankovitch cycles. All civilisation does is move it around. Energy cannot be created. It can only be transferred. You lot need to wake up. You have to do everything not to use energy, yet the guys ordering you to do that are quite happy to burn millions of tons of explosives every day and burn every forest in Ukraine and Israel, soon to spread elsewhere, while they fly around in their private jets and drive around in their massive gas guzzlers telling you it's your fault.
The temperatures shown on this graph since 1980 are NASA sourced satellite temperature measures and are not impacted by land use changes or the sites of traditional measuring stations.
The damned lie is the one which says temperature is not rising. On a global scale, it is rising and all the data shows that.
Where I diverge from the hysteria around this is, in the stupid apoplectic predictions of the planet burning up in a short period like 'Two years to save the planet'. That's nonsense, and the planet will not heat up to destruction either any time soon, because it has been far hotter in the distant past than it is now. In fact, we are living in an inter-glacial period when it is quite cool by long term standards.
Over the last half billion years we can tell from rock and sediment samples that the temperature was as much as 10c higher than now for long periods. All the land animals then were reptiles. No mammals. Of course, this does not mean that a much hotter planet could support anything like 7 billion humans - it certainly won't do that, but the earth will still be here and it will still have life on it. It might just not be human life on most of it.
Places like the Middle east where temperatures in summer are 40c and above are already marginal anyway, because if a person's body temperature gets to 44 c, they will certainly die. At a body temperature of 42c, you will be very ill. There are plenty of places in the Middle East where temperatures get over 40c. It isn't nice and you won't do much, or grow much food.

By the way - when Saneagle says the Milankovitch Cycles are going down, they won't come back to cold conditions for nearly ten thousand years. That's a long way off.
Milankovitch Cycles were identified by a Serbian scientist who spotted that anomalies in the precession of the Earth's orbit around the sun, cause periodic cooling and heating because the orbit of the planet around the sun varies in distance and the tilt of the earth alters to change the severity of the seasonal changes of winter and summer. The shortest of these cycles is 26 thousand years and the longer one is 100 thousand years. These are measurable and very predictable and are caused by the influence of the giant planets Jupiter and Saturn which pull on the earth and change its orbit in a very regular clock like fashion. That is incorrect.
The mean global temperature is about 1c warmer than it was in 1950.
The mean global temperature of the planet in 2024 is 15c.
Low orbiting satellites have been measuring this stuff very accurately all across the planet since the 1980s. Several of them orbit covering every part of the planet every day doing measurements. Some people for their own reasons seek to deny this data, but what do they have as an alternative? Nothing.... Except daft conspiracy theories. Totally nuts.

NASA is not the only space agency running weather and environmental measuring satellites. ESA have them, the Russians have them and so do the Chinese.... Never mind . some conspiracy dickhead on youtube probably came up with a different answer in his backyard in Kentucky, so we had better all go and listen to him.... I mean ....
