Yes. You first had the narrower Q85, then the Q140 cassette version, and now the Q75. The Q100 hasn't changed in that time AFAIK, so in that case the answer's no; however, it came a lot later than the Tongxin.

has the cute100 improved over the years??
I enjoyed my Q100 way more than my Tongxin. Easier to pull apart, takes more power, able to use it from a standstill, same weight, cheaper, just as quiet.

So basically we have 2 choices now:
- keyde goldant for small assist
- or cute100 for more power?

For something as low powered as the q75 rated at 200W, I think the keyde goldant rated at 180W would make more sense. Dual goldant would probably be a good combo

I bought an inline pressure switch. Fitted at 'T' section near the seat.
Had no problems at all with it. Worth the cost.

Amigafan - where did you get that bag which contained your original 4 x 5ah 22.2v turnigy please ?

Just that's the exact battery setup I intend to buy when my current one packs up (any minute now I suspect)

And the fit seems perfect !
Thanks

Hopefully you got my pm amigafan ?

Also I'm most interested in your setup for disabling the extra speed unless you are near the bike

I understand you do this via the 3 speed switch. Although I'm not sure how exactly

I have a ku65 which has a restrict to 15mph restrictor loop. Connected its restricted , unconnected and it isn't .

I'm wondering how I might be able to add some sort of similar system that connects/disconnects this Depending if I'm nearby (with some form of keyring dongle presumably )

Any help or ideas appreciated !

Started building an inframe battery box like d8veh - thanks for the inspiration - they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Progress so far:-

Hi KristinS

Have you tried the sine wave controller with LCD panel?

You can set up the speed limit on the LCD panel which is much easier

It'll look great in black. If you go down the model shop and get a sheet of half inch balsa wood, you can laminate a block ont0 the front corner to make it more rounded.

Are you going to build in a charger socket ? I've only had to open my box once in 3 months. Was so worthwhile !

I'm going to bring the battery cables outside under the box - beside the down tube, and I'll put a removable link in so that no one can switch it on when I nip inside a shop :).

Where do you find the epoxy glass sheet for the battery case? I'm having trouble to get them at good price

I'm not going to use perspex.

Ships in two boxes.

Motor internals seperate - easy to put back together - Paul provides instructions. Cheaper shipping as the "wheel" box is thus narrower.

Internals fitted.

Mounted to the bike - torque arm either side.

Had to double up on the washers on the non disc side to clear the fork leg.

My reed switch based ebrake died so decided to revert to good old fashioned mechanical (I could have used the Magura switch but I had these bits on hand right away). Pulled the swicth out of tone of the ebrake supplied with the MAC kit and fasioned a carbon fibre bracket to position it. Works flawlessly :)
