Yes, totally OTT, but I'm always prepared for it.They have also shifted oodles of programs around on, for example, Radio 4 Extra so even when you a permitted to listen to something else, the choice is bizarre. A complete Agatha Christie repeated three times to fill the day. (A well-worn repeat at that.) And inconsistently so a program is shown as available but then won't be for a week because original broadcast date is now in the future.
One channel of radio, one of TV, would have been more than enough.
I currently have 103 unwatched TV programs on my Freeview TV recorder that I constantly draw on and top up with fresh ones.
Plus links to 36 Radio 4 programs I haven't listened to yet.
Plus around 80 Podcasts of past informative Radio 4 programs of special interest and worth listening to again.
These are another reason why I don't pay for any subscription services from Sky or the like.
