At least you could literally "see them coming"
There was a regulation in this country early last century where no airman could sleep more than five yards from his horse
You could see what with tho... Not what you want on way to an Oyster and Champagne breakfast. Those lorry drivers must have some stamina.. Don't know how they do all that work....and then a bit of driving.
Its keeping that entire region in cash.
At Figures they started construction of what looked like a 3 story supermarket, with covered parking and a great big sectioned lorry park. Easily the size of a big Asda. We enquired at nearby restaurant whether it was going to be a Lidle or Aldi.
"Unless they have moved into pimping neither, its a new Brothel"

I think they only notify the authorities if there is some clear sign that it's related. Beside those, if you look at the number of people being hospitalised because of Covid, the difference between those who are not vaccinated and those who have received a jab 11+ weeks before, the vaccine effect is small. They are all just as likely to get blood clots as a result of serious covid needing hospitalisation. If you say: covid causes the clots, not the vaccine. You are probably right. However, you accept by the same token the causal link between the virus and blood clots. Now drill down a bit, what if the vaccine produces in some people symptoms of covid because the virus is already there and the body's immune system kicks off violently after the injection?

Now NHS England has admitted there is a major shortage of vaccine.

Deferring younger groups by a month and concentrating on existing older groups and second doses.

The data CAN change. What if there were thousands of people who choose not to respond? , because they felt the effect was minor, or they were very busy or they thought they were alone.. The niggle becomes important, then it becomes identified. Remember back 15months ago, when you were berating the Chinese for not beating haystacks for needles. Of course the problem is that it begets a #METWO response.
The serious point is why are cases of blood clotting underreported in the UK data.? In science the absence of an effect is an effect.

It will be ok. The Serum Institute of India will be sending millions of gallons of the stuff over here very soon. I’m having Oxford Tikka Masala with Pilau rice for my second course.

We should launch an invasion by sending an expeditionary force to secure supplies. The French will surrender and the Italians will run away. We can nuke the Germans if they give us any trouble and the rest don’t need to concern us.

A certain person is quoted:

Boris Johnson’s former chief adviser Dominic Cummings has called for an investigation into the government’s handling of coronavirus and described the Department of Health and Social Care as a “smoking ruin” when the crisis struck.

Please remind me, which party had been in government for years before 2020?

Is that not proof of their utter incompetence that their own former adviser puts this out?

That's their armies. Judging from Basra it's their citizens who will force us to surrender.

As for nuking the Germans, the last time the Yanks tried one of the missiles they sell us, it turned on the USA and had to be destroyed in mid air.

We, ll send OG then. They, d soon surrender.
They did when Dad went, Grandad too, a bit earlier.
However in Dad's case it was his second visit he had to swim back part of the way on the first one before hitching a ride on a Pleasure cruiser the Regal Lady
Now, resting in Scarborough harbour at the age of 91, she is fully restored to open as a floating Dunkirk museum.
The Regal Lady now

Many years ago, I visited the Scillies and was ferried across to one of the islands on a boat with a Dunkirk plaque. Still in daily service.
