Europe doesn't come into it. Its the Equalities and Human Rights Commission EHRC :D :D :D
Then Jeremy and I invoke their article 10:

Article 10 of the Human Rights Act: Freedom of expression

1. Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers. This Article shall not prevent States from requiring the licensing of broadcasting, television or cinema enterprises.

2. The exercise of these freedoms, since it carries with it duties and responsibilities, may be subject to such formalities, conditions, restrictions or penalties as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society, in the interests of national security, territorial disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, for the protection of the reputation or rights of others, for preventing the disclosure of information received in confidence, or for maintaining the authority and impartiality of the judiciary.

I love this spin. You have to hand it to some of these guys:

The actual story is that Trump held a rally yesterday for which 57,000 people turned up and they completely overwhelmed the facilities and arrangements. This writer managed to spin it into Trump doesn't care for his supporters because he didn't provide enough buses to get them home quickly.

Character assassination is pretty much all you do, huh? Try. To. Kickstart. The. Frontal. Lobes. For. A. Change. Adern's core policies are about social and racial justice. Very much as in the corbyn/mc Donnell manifesto.
They also have much tighter immigration controls in that neck of the world. They can lock down and contain much easier.

Anyway, forget Corbyn and McDonnell, that ain’t happening. The public have given their verdict on that pair and like the EHRC report, it’s very clear, and also like the EHRC report, you can’t accept it:D:D:D:D:D:D

Australia recorded zero covid cases over the past 24 hours. Thanks to lockdowns and proactive testing and tracing. Still, I'm sure the conservatives on the thread will say voting for boris was worthwhile. I mean, half million excess deaths and a shattered economy is a small price to pay for that rosy xenophobic fantasy of superiority and the promise of tax cuts.

Australia also put immigrants on an island for processing. Are you happy about that too? Never realised you were a supporter of Patel.

47 buses for 57,000 supporters? one bus for 1212 people means a long queue.

No it's not, we are longer in the EU so it's ECHR. Anyway they even call themselves that and as they are foreigners we have to accord them the courtesy of calling them what they say they are, though I can think of more suitable names.

.. both wrong... It took me a while to figure it out. The report is from a UK body set up under UK law and certainly the kind of organisation which is a Quango called the Equality and Human Rights Commission . I took the opportunity to skim read it this report and it is an excercise in advanced pettifogging. It is all about complaints in procedures , rather than substance.

In case you didn't get it, the problem wasn't the number of buses. It was the size of the crowd.
that goes to show that Trump is his worst enemy.
What has he achieved with 57000 supporters turning up to watch him delivering the same message that Covid has gone?
what then if they get infected with Covid at the show?

I said it was the Equalities and Human Rights Commission from the word go.

It was set up during Labour’s term in government.

The report is full of evidence.

So long as they have vote for him, he probably doesn't give a damn.

but that's their job.
They establish the facts and points of law for the case.
It's a bit like a 'juge d'instruction' in France (just a reminder for those who watch the French series Spiral).
Now the real lawyers can start suing the Labour party for millions.

You are wasting your time trying to explain to him. He is totally incapable of getting anything right, and I mean literally anything.
