Yes, of not being allowed to interrupt.

I saw a convincing article this morning saying he is now not so much looking to win the election, more looking for excuses and ways to show he is great and everyone loves him.
I'm not sure I agree, but well worth a quick scan.

Despite the wide (and widening) gap shown in the polls I still have an anxious feeling that something could go wrong.
if Trump loses, Mike Pence will most certainly run in 2024.
I reckon mos republican party members will like that.
They'll let the Democrates sort out Covid first.

Unless the republicans decide that the disaster of 2020 was so bad they want a big separation from anyone connected with it.

We can hope.

I am a fence sitter, but going on what happened last time what with Hilary billed as 92% likely to win, my guess will be a win for Trump.

I've just learnt that of the circa 19,000 fines issued for breaking Covid regulations, some half have not been paid, chiefly because the recipients are point blank refusing to pay.

The conflict that many forecast could occur over these regulations I can see happening if enforcement is attempted.
.
I think you'll find that's the same for most court fines that are issued flecc, can't pay wont pay so it's forgotten about.
I see someone's been fined £10,000 for organising a rave or whatever, is there any chance the courts will ever see that dosh where would it come from ... I know another rave, sorted. Can't even dish out community service anymore thanks to covid.

Project Fear? Or Project Really Quite Accurate and Maybe Optimistic.

UK reveals plans for up to 10 inland border sites to cope with Brexit chaos

Sites being acquired as part of efforts to avoid long lorry queues at ports such as Dover

The government has announced plans for up to 10 inland sites to cope with Brexit congestion and border checks including in Birmingham, Warrington and at a former airfield near Epping Forest in Essex.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/oct/08/plans-inland-border-sites-cope-brexit-congestion

The big surprise - they don't seem to be concerned about all the traffic coming off the Seaborne Freight services to Ramsgate...

On Wednesday Michael Gove, in charge of implementing Brexit, said of the potential for chaos in Kent: “If things do go wrong, then to paraphrase Rag’n’Bone Man – put the blame on me.”

There won't be any yellow ribbons round the old oak tree for Gove.

Hmm, you dont sound a fence sitter to me. One of Biden's strengths before the first debate was that polls aside no one expected much from him. The trump fake news indoctrination machine convinced all the Republicans and swing voters he was an incoherent dodderer. So he didn't have to do much to prove them wrong. And he's doing that.

If you have two neanderthal genes, you may be a goner if you catch Covid!
A professor of Max Planck Institute explained on BBC News just now.
That may explain why different regions of the world like Africa, Japan, Vietnam have fewer Covid deaths.
Also, it appears that tests for Covid may generate a lot more positive results because remnants of past Covid infection still hanging around in people's throat and nose while the person may have ceased to be infectious.

remdesivir costs £2,000 per patient per treatment for 5 days.
Whereas the other treatment is reported:

Therapies in the same class as Regeneron’s antibody cocktail cost on average more than $96,000 per course.

There again, he apparently got an 8 gram dose - which was said to be massive. Possibly a multiple of the above cost.

And further news on that:

Covid drug given to Trump developed using cells derived from aborted fetus
Trump touts Regeneron antibody cocktail as a potential ‘cure’ while he has consistently sought to restrict abortion access

I have more than average:

You have more Neanderthal DNA than 85% of other customers.
Neanderthals were prehistoric humans who interbred with modern humans before disappearing around 40,000 years ago.

Bizarrely, the only identified trait that I might have is:

You have 2 variants associated with having a worse sense of direction.

And when I look further, I have:

Markers where you have two Neanderthal variants
28 x 2

Yet my sense of direction seems better than many!
