And from Windmills... to Canyons.

You wouldn't need to make many changes:

'Cross the mountains of your chest
I will sticker Union Jacks
To the forest of your cheek
Through the holes in your string vest

How weird. Someone was talking about this band yesterday. I’d never heard of them. I wasn’t aware they did urban spaceman.

They are touring again soon apparently

But that's OK, they aren't Jewish and therefore not protected.

Perhaps the laws about racism should apply to all people of all races equally?
Perhaps the daftest thing of all about this issue is that the Jews are NOT a race.

The Jews themselves state they are not a race, they are an ethnoreligious group and a nation.

One US magistrate in Louisiana has defined Jews as a race on the basis that they are discriminated against, but that is clearly nonsense since many who are not Jewish or one race are discriminated against.

One rumour is that Cummings (AKA Rasputin) resigned a month ago to avoid purdah rules on Civil servant,s or has he?
Here is anothr version
"Technically he has not resigned though he has just stood down as because of electoral law he cannot be a civil servant and involved in election campaigning. Guarantee he still has the job if they ever get back in "
Surprised they even bothered, usually they simply lie.

Which highlights another lie, that he was going in for some sort of surgery at end of October.

Maybe they couldn't find a surgeon who is both willing to operate and trusted by DC?

I'm surprised no one has thought of asking those who still vote for leave who intend to vote for Boris, what exactly they have been promised?
Come to think of it, the same applies to Leavers too.
It's all so vague, quite unlike the Rainbows and Unicorns before the referendum, and yet they seem to be afraid of Corbyn bringing in the changes they were promised at the time.

produced by Paul McCartney and Gus Dudgeon under the pseudonym "Apollo C. Vermouth".

A factoid I also heard for the first time yesterday.

I had another totally weird thing yesterday regarding the Mandela effect and the theory we have been in a parallel dimension since they switched on CERN.

I heard it the night before then someone random mentioned it online the next day.

Very odd.

UK’s Conservatives pledge to ban local councils from boycotting Israel
In election manifesto, Boris Johnson’s party says it will stop public bodies from imposing their own ‘disinvestment or sanctions campaigns against foreign countries’
In its election policy manifesto published Thursday, the Labour Party said that if voted into power it will “immediately recognize the state of Palestine” and would stop selling weapons to Israel.

"You scratch my back" Fascinating and quite relevant to the recent attack on Corbyn

Let's ban councils from doing anything to support the tories. Hey - maybe even leave them off ballot papers.

Subjectively, I'm ok with corbyn/labour's manifesto (despite it meaning paying more tax). Beyond that, I would have thought self preservation would come into it? If bojo wins shares and the pound will dive, inflation fly and lots of assets devalue.
no. Capitalists won't have much to worry about if either Bojo or Corbyn wins.
If Bojo wins, they'll buy privatised assets, if JC wins, they'll lend UK government more money. They only want to know before we do.

Does anyone really want that bunch of incompetents to win the election?

33179

A printing error has seen hundreds of election leaflets sent out by the Conservative Party in Wells containing details about its manifesto for Wales.

Other constituencies including Yeovil and West Bromwich in the West Midlands also received misprinted leaflets.

Reprinting could end up costing so they might bust their expenses limits.

Given our current apology for a PM appears to think he is even better than Winston, perhaps he should adopt WC's words to marginally more accurately describe leaving the EU in January 2020?

This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Unfortunately, some might interpret that as reflecting positively on BJ. And it appears somewhat optimistic.

The pound is sitting stable on the assumption that BJ will win!.
That's because the market - under the current dire circumstances - prefer an outright conservative majority to a hung parliament or a weak labour coalition. They think a large conservative majority will give boris the wiggle room to seriously dilute a hard brexit. This is the market hoping for anything other than a hard brexit or instability. It's not the pound sitting stable, it's the pound clinging on by its fingertips. And under a boris government it will, in due course, slide

Banks buy government bonds from creditworthy states. There isnt any profit in being bailed out by the world bank (something the uk isnt entirely unfamiliar with)
