The conclusion of the YouGove poll appears to be a 68 seat majority for Boris.
It will be interesting to see how this works out.
I caught a few seconds of someone trying to explain a new way of doing one of the opinion polls yesterday. As usual, the explanation appeared to justify why the poll was much, much better than previous methodologies.

Of course, they would say that, wouldn't they.

The pollsters haven't been telling us, ahead of elections, how unreliable their polls were - election by election - for the century or more they have been running. Each time, they seem just to claim how much better they now are than in the past. Different approaches, polls of polls, etc. Only afterwards do they admit the problems.

A great deal of effort goes into digging up ypast to spoil his election chances.
Yet so little of that with Johnson, however the Mirror is running this

"
Boris Johnson branded children of single mothers 'ignorant and illegitimate'
In a column the Tory leader said a way needed to be found to "restore women's desire to be married" - and said it was "feeble" of a man to be unable to "take control of his woman"

Naughty Boris, but as usual, nobody cares do they?
How many of your illegitimate children are ignorant Boris? and isn't it feeble of a man not to be able to control himself?

But that was last century when you could say anything. He has learned since...

Has he discussed it with Carrie?

Hancock strikes again
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/workers-under-25-dont-deserve-living-wage-because-theyre-not-as-productive-says-tory-minister-a6683851.html

"Workers under 25 'don't deserve living wage because they're not as productive,' says Tory minister

Cabinet Office minister Matthew Hancock defends deicision not to include under-25s in the policy"

That should really bring in the Youth voters!
So people are supposed to jump from being illegitimate children of single mothers to being over-25 before they deserve to live?

People in Swansea/Port Talbot will not be happy with Tata's job losses. Owner's statement (as reported so far) doesn't blame brexit, but the comment below doesn't offer much for Port Talbot. I read "Europe(an)" as "EU" in this context:

Tata Steel’s chief executive for Europe, Henrik Adam, said: “We cannot afford to stand still as a company – the world around us is changing fast and we have to adapt. Our strategy is to build a strong and stable European business, capable of making significant investments needed for a successful future.”

It seems at moment Daily Mail/BBC and a few others have succeeded in assasinating Corbyn's character and ideas.???
They have certainly pulled out the stops to achieve it!

Amazing that the public can be induced to be more concerned about the complaints of racial discrimination by an ethnic minority in just one of the two political parties where it is present, and ignore the fate of FOUR MILLION of the general public forced to use food banks.
Plus a further 4 million people in the UK are trapped in deep poverty, meaning their income is at least 50% below the official breadline, locking them into a weekly struggle to afford the most basic living essentials, an independent study has shown.

What this shows is democracy is failing to protect the poor and vulnerable, because the means of persuasion have turned the selection process into nothing more than a personal popularity contest.
And guess what? History repeats itself, and liars and cheats seem better equipped to motivate the public to vote for self harm.

There is a natural limit to this process and when the intended No deal Brexit is achieved and the consequences become apparent, with any luck the public will receive a beneficial lesson in the need for due diligence when voting.
Too many still cling to the notion that politicians will avoid doing the wrong thing, and somehow Brexit is really only a minor change.
It will be a very expensive lesson to learn indeed for many.

the conservatives lead in the polls (12% at the moment), is narrowing about 1%-2% a week with 2 weeks left. We could end up with the same as in 2017: Con 44, Labour 36.

Another one of Boris's past casual racist follies surfaces

Johnson accused of racial stereotyping with view on Nigerians
Boris Johnson has been accused of pushing racial stereotypes over a newly-unearthed column written during his time as editor of the Spectator in which he said young people had “an almost Nigerian interest in money”.

But that's OK, they aren't Jewish and therefore not protected.

Perhaps the laws about racism should apply to all people of all races equally?

There must be a heck of a lot of people being kicked in the head by a horse for the Conservatives to do better than the BXP at what was it 4%?
I have to say I find that figure to be extraordinarily low, does anyone else feel that too?
Interestingly they also give the following results
Wrong to vote for Brexit 47%
Right to vote for Brexit 41%
When you consider that 66% are down as regarding Brexit as being the most important issue, it makes support for Boris look even more weird.

they may just as well ask the question: who do you want for PM.
JC wants to transfer large sums from the net positive tax contributors to those who don't earn enough to be net tax contributors. That's a laudable aim but there are more payers than receivers, hence the discrepancy in poll result.
If he aims for the extra tax to the payers to be less than £1,000 a year, perhaps he'd get enough support to become PM.

Only six months after the Brexit party won a Scottish seat in the European parliament with 14.8% of the vote, Ipsos found its support in Scotland now too low to be effectively measured: it puts it at under 1%.
