BJ's disastrous performance will write his own epitaph.

We in London know that to be true from his time as our Mayor, a very costly legacy that we are still putting right.
.
Given that Cossrail is now set for £18bn and not opening until 2021, perhaps we can look forward to:

That would be a good thing, if it actually happened. The Northern rail system is a disgrace for a 21st century country.

I'm not bothered by our Crossrail overruns since they are very reasonable. All our public projects overrun, usually by far greater amounts and far longer periods

First the Russians now this!
https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/opendemocracyuk/concerns-over-foreign-interference-as-india-linked-hindu-nationalist-group-targets-labour-candidates/

Activists directly linked to India’s ruling Hindu nationalist party, the BJP, have vowed to campaign on behalf of the Conservative Party – raising concerns about attempted foreign interference in next month’s UK general election.
On Tuesday the president of Overseas Friends of BJP UK (OFBJPUK), told The Times of India his campaign group was planning to campaign in 48 marginal seats to help Conservative candidates.

“We have a team in each constituency which is going round with the Tory candidate leafleting, speaking to people and persuading them to vote Tory,” said Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat. “The teams are organised by the BJP and Friends of India Society International.”

Boris Johnson visited a school and they locked all the 6th formers in their classrooms .... well presumably just in case someone with a brain asked him an actual question

My son’s school has locked the sixth formers in their common room until 1145, because an unnamed Cabinet Minister is visiting the school. Who could it be that is afraid of contact with 6th Formers

They are trying the same old stuff in the Telegraph

Labour beset by 'anti-Semitism and thuggery', claims Lord Blunkett, as he warns of 1983-style election defeat

Do they really think this will work when Boris comes out with the remarks he does about women in Burkas looking like letter boxes?

Anyone done a H&S, especially fire, assessment of locking a room full of children?

[The thread itself makes it clear no key was actually turned.]

Who would have thought The Times would confuse "or" and "and"?

Boris Johnson accused of deceit or ignorance on Brexit trade barriers

Children? Amazing how times change. 6th formers (term itself is an anomoly to old way of labelling years in school) would never have been referred to as children in my day. Makes arguing for voting age to be reduced to 16 rather confusing. Should "children" really be allowed vote?
Besides anyone who has been near a school in last 50 years knows full well locking "kids" in a room would be a sacking offence, but why let truth get in way of a story to knock Boris. The truth is bad enough. OG still posting fake news but only that suiting his dialogue.
Yes, Boris is a baffoon, the opposition are unfortunately no better and in many respects even worse.

Remainers endure crushing blow as Nigel Farage set for TWO BBC election debates
NIGEL FARAGE will take part in two BBC election debates ahead of the December 12 poll in a huge boost for the Brexit Party.

Why is he appearing at all when he is not standing for election?
This is stupid.

What is your game?
You come out with this load of garbage simply to launch an attack on me?
I post what I find, you can judge for yourself whether the contents in truth, but unlike you I don't post deliberate fake news, or launch unproved personal attacks as you just did.
You really need to lose the chip on your shoulder.

Even if he doesnt stand he can still affect vote and he can choose to stand in future. Take away his more radical "thoughts", I use the word in jest, and he is a good speaker and talks some sense. He obviously influences some. If he were Lib dem leader they, d stand a chance..???!!!! He makes many MPs look and sound very amateurish, including Swinson. There would have to be some rearranging of policies by both Farage and Lib Dems but we know full well they are all capable of changes to get in no 10...????

Don't follow that logic at all, he is simply a bystander with no more right to be on an election debate than you or I.
By all means have one of his candidates on, that would be fair and reasonable
