Overall:

Anti Brexit parties 40.4% of the vote

Pro-Brexit parties 34.9% of the vote.

Let’s have another EU referendum. Remain will win by a bigger margin than Leave won by last time. It’s there in black & white.
as you can see, remain would win if there were a referendum tomorrow but the UK is still very much split roughly in the middle.

You might be right but the turnout would be much lower making the result a farce.

Talk about picking the bits that suit your argument..
Results for York in 2016
Remain 63,617
Leave 45,983
So the exact opposite of what you are thinking, Yes Yorkshire voted 70% to
leave but York voted to remain by a massive margin.

It's you picking the bits you like, aren't you ?this time Yorkshire voted to remain

You might be right about the turnout being lower, but I think it would be the Leave voters who would abandon the polls.

I was going to say the next few months of politics will be fascinating, but when you think about it, it won’t. The idle, useless, **ckers in parliament will be on annual leave whilst this crisis plays out. Unbelievable.

What this will do is simply make matters worse with both parties having internal battles.
From their point of view, it makes good sense to delay matters and crash out with no deal, and avoid carrying the can when things go wrong.
Blame free brexit! Ideal for both party leaders, you can always blame the EU or the public.

I agree it would be the leave voters that would abandon the polls. Hopefully all of them. Remain would then win by 100%.....The leave parties have already said boycotting another referendum would be a possibility.

Lib Dem’s are such arses. Their common bleat now is that remain have beaten leave. In what way is that possible? Just blatantly lying.

No matter how you dress it up leave won again. Just add Labour and Brexit party together and that is over 50%. Not even including the Tories paltry amount or ukips micro share of the vote leave has won again.
Neither won. Claiming it was a second referendum is utter BS.
Ukip voters transferred to BXP, Labour and Tory to Lib Dems in a pointless meaningless waste of money.
The result shows us nothing, apart from silly people trying to claim none existent success stories.

Now that we have massive social media and celebrity exposure, It makes you wonder, if some one famous and popular started a "what's the point of voting party" how they would fare.

Watching Daniel Hannan this morning on TV reminds me that he is no longer an MEP.

there is some good in the EP election I think.

How can you make an excuse that your own candidate, selected by your own selection procedures, caused your reputation to be marred? If you don't want to get tarred make sure you keep good a distance from the brush.

Fanning said she felt the party would be lucky to get three seats in total. “I believe that’s because Ukip’s EU campaign has been overshadowed by Sargon of Akkad’s disgusting comments and rape jokes and things he has said in the past. That’s very much marred Ukip’s reputation.”

My, my. How am I supposed to respond to someone who responds by calling me a freak?
And then goes off his head will all sorts of nonsense assertions?
I posted evidence to support my claims about Apples sordid Tax history and human rights abuses and your reply?
You called me a freak and then went on a rant even Boris would blanch at, and he is a buffoon.
Do you have an overwhelming urge to keep making yourself look deranged?
That appears to be the fashion in the Conservative membership these days
You all need collectively to grow up..

Your so wonderful Conservative party is not merely going down the pan, if it achieves a No Deal Brexit by it's usual methods of crass stupidity and incompetence, it will destroy itself completely

And your Pound shop Capitalist mini revolution with go with it.
Whatever.

"All any of them do is rip off the British pubic" is what you said - which is the sort of thing nut-jobs and freaks think.

No - it is NOT ALL THAT THEY DO and to say such a thing only makes you look ridiculous.

Interesting election results though huh?

This is like the old Monty Python joke, remember?
I'll avoid repeating it but use the lines just the same.

"You have insulted the good name of the UKIP"
"Don't be ridiculous, the UKIP hasn't got a good name!"
