This is what OG believes - sorry this is what the freak OJ believes:

"What benefit has there ever been to the public here from Facebook (used to fiddle the referendum) Google (again used against the public) and Apple (the biggest rip off company of all time? that swindles the public blind with ludicrously overpriced products?)
All any of them do is rip off the British public and avoid tax."

Give it up OG.

You've been outed.

You're a freak.

Apple - "the biggest rip off company of all time".

AMAZING. Then how come they are loved by millions? How do you explain that? How do you explain WHY PEOPLE BUY SO MUCH OF THEIR STUFF?

Companies that are rip-offs GO OUT OF BUSINESS!

Well they do in our wonderful capitalist world. In your freak Socialist paradise Apple would be banned no doubt and we'd all have to buy all our tech from some state-owned shop.

Freak.
My, my. How am I supposed to respond to someone who responds by calling me a freak?
And then goes off his head will all sorts of nonsense assertions?
I posted evidence to support my claims about Apples sordid Tax history and human rights abuses and your reply?
You called me a freak and then went on a rant even Boris would blanch at, and he is a buffoon.
Do you have an overwhelming urge to keep making yourself look deranged?
That appears to be the fashion in the Conservative membership these days
You all need collectively to grow up..

Your so wonderful Conservative party is not merely going down the pan, if it achieves a No Deal Brexit by it's usual methods of crass stupidity and incompetence, it will destroy itself completely

And your Pound shop Capitalist mini revolution with go with it.

it will be a few years before fruit pickers should feel threatened.
At the moment, those robots can only pick raspberries at the rate of one a minute.

At the current price of raspberries. as in at time of posting not currents the fruit, you'd still be coining it in. there's roughly 25 raspberries in a punnet at £2.50 to £3 a chuck.

25 to 30p a minute. Thats not bad scratch. It will be the fruit version of the Terminator. Never stopping just continually picking fruit. No caravans needed, no moaning just picking fruit constantly. A pound minimum every 4 mins. It's judgement day like predicted but this time its fruit who has to worry.

you don't have to convince me.
I am pretty sure the machines will beat the human in fruit picking.
A rate of 1 fruit per second can easily be achieved in the next 2-3 years.

election results start coming in.
I think it's safe to say that our friend vfr's candidate Tommy Robinson won't go to Brussels and Southend remains a brexit town.

The machine I just read about is at one every 3.456 seconds. (25,000 a day.)

Ha ha ha ha ha ha

I wonder what the excuse will be? My guess is media first, particularly the BBC then muslims.

Lib Dem’s are such arses. Their common bleat now is that remain have beaten leave. In what way is that possible? Just blatantly lying.

No matter how you dress it up leave won again. Just add Labour and Brexit party together and that is over 50%. Not even including the Tories paltry amount or ukips micro share of the vote leave has won again.

This was actually the proxy referendum. As I see it any vote for UKIP and or Brexit was a Leave Vote ..preferably on WTO terms . A vote for any of LibDems, Change,Green SNP, Plaid was a vote to Remain. A vote for Tories was a probable remain ..since the true blue leavers had gone the Brexit path. A vote for Labour was ambiguous ..so splits even.
Even if you take the view that the Labour and Tory vote was Brexit deal . ..then the majority of the country wants to remain closely linked with the EU.
Last time I looked 40% is bigger than 35%, so the range of the overtly Remain parties have outpolled the overtly Brexit parties, even ignoring the Tories and Labour. Now because the Remain vote was spread amongst 5 or 6 parties, the Leave candidates get elected. .. would not happen in a PR system.

Just to remind everyone in the 2014 election UKIP got 24 seats this time none, and The BXP this time gained 28 seats, just 4 more for the cause.
On the remain side the Lid Dems and greens gained 22 seats.
It was a victory for the BXP as you can't count Tory or Labour votes really.
Corbyn aided the BXP cause.

It was a victory, but by no means a landslide ,and there were some interesting things emerged.

"In York, in the Yorkshire & the Humber region, the Liberal Democrats took the lead on 29 percent of the vote, with the Brexit Party in second on 27 percent.

And this in an area that voted 70% to leave.
The significance of the result? it will have opposite effects of the Labour and Conservative Parties

Labour have little choice than to go for a referendum
Conservatives? will continue to flounder with their usual incompetence

Talk about picking the bits that suit your argument..
Results for York in 2016
Remain 63,617
Leave 45,983
So the exact opposite of what you are thinking, Yes Yorkshire voted 70% to
leave but York voted to remain by a massive margin.

Just a bit of confusion.

Here are the 2019 result: LibDems won in York. The 2016 result was a two horse race. If a new referendum is between WTO brexit and no brexit, the remainers have increased their win a tiny little bit since 2016 (58/42).

2019 Remain wins by 63/37 in York

LD+Green+CHUK = 29251
BXP+UKIP = 17480

Yes Remain won in York by 2% but in 2016 Remain won by 17%(approx.)
LibDems beat BXP by a small margin in 2019 but people did not vote for LibDems nor the BXP in 2016. To compare the results 2016/2019, you need to line up the forces in York, brexiters (UKIP+BXP) and remainers (LD+GREEN+CHUK).
Remainers have strengthened 5% in 3 years.
If the trend/momentum is extrapolated throughout the UK, A50 will be revoked.

Overall:

Anti Brexit parties 40.4% of the vote

Pro-Brexit parties 34.9% of the vote.

Let’s have another EU referendum. Remain will win by a bigger margin than Leave won by last time. It’s there in black & white.
