I think the confusing taxation messages from the government are the major factor in deterring people for driving a new car. There exists a kind of unspoken message that Diesel will be hit with penalties and to some extent engine size will be a factor. However, there is no clarity and that makes it difficult to decide what to have. That makes people insecure about taking on further debt in order to be able to drive the latest flashy model with Apple Car Play and en-suite toilet facilities, or whatever the current gimmick is.

Brexit may be a small factor for manufacturers shifting fewer models, but I think that I outline the major one above.

We know this to be true. New car sales have been on a downward trend for a while now. But don't waste your breath trying to change the narrative of Brexit misery on here. Any slightly bad news is of course down to Brexit.

It's DC who loses the battle.
D. Cummings spotted a few weaknesses in DC campaign, he exploited them.
He is not a genius, if anything, his big mouth and big ego are going to make him unemployable at the next referendum.
Great Spirits? and how do you define such a beast? most of the so called "Great Spirits" have turned out to be a menace to the Human Race

Genes are also far more complex and subtle than most realise. It isn't just the code but everything that affects gene expression. Including all those wonderful things like nutrients.
I see that the Troll replied to your post with the usual fascist nonsense about genes. no doubt he imagines himself one of the Ubermensch
But his behaviour and responses like this
"You are such a dick. I mean - this is your view of Dominic Cummings? Did you even watch the talk. Darn you really are a complete twat. "
Should really embarass a spoilt child to make

Bad spelling aside what does this mean?

I swear English isn't your first language.

Less mashing of keyboard and more thought in your posts please.

Interesting, confirms my hunch that it will take a hard brexit and crash to get through to leave voters that aren't motivated by the racial preservation society
Whats more interesting!!
The largest `Brexit` related petition vote....

Petition
Leave the EU without a deal in March 2019.

We are wasting Billions of pounds of taxpayers money trying to negotiate in a short space of time. Leaving the EU in March 2019 will allow the UK good time to negotiate more efficiently. The EU will be more eager to accept a deal on our terms having lost a major partner.

Were there not some 65,000,000 people eligible to sign this petition?. That means, according to my trusty calculator a fraction of 0.0046 .
Do you need a tutorial in significant figures?. That fraction would not have registered were I using my more ancient slide rule.
Perhaps the slogan for that petition might more accurately read...
"We have wasted a couple of hundred million in a fruitless excercise in pretending to negotiate with a much stronger EU. Leaving the EU will allow the UK to negotiate very efficiently with itself. The EU will be more eager to welcome back the UK ,when this national soul searching is completed.

Exactly as I've been forecasting, a new referendum will produce a large margin for a Remain win. This 18% margin is decisive and woud stem all argument as a result.

In fact the margin would be even larger. Interviews are showing a high proportion of former Leave voters will abstain in any future referendum due to their dissatisfaction with the outcome the Leave campaign has produced.

Parliament's vote on the Brexit deal must include an option to remain in the EU.

A lesser of two evils choice between a bad deal and no deal is not acceptable. Our country deserves better than Hobson's choice, and our MPs should be allowed to vote with their conscience to deliver what they believe is best for the country.

there is no guarantee that the same remain team will not make the same mistakes fighting the next referendum. Try to frighten the voters does not work.

It's down to how you ask the question.

Madam, would you like to pay £billions and remain in the EU?
You'll get 'No, thank you'.
If you ask:
Sir, would you like to stop the brexit mess immediately?
The answer is very different.

As I've previously posted, it's not about anyone changing their mind. It's only about whether they'll vote for their side.

Campaigns will have little relevance now there's the two precedents to judge from, being in the EU with how things were, or the very poor Leave deal on offer and what's been happening recently.

It seems to have escaped you that the UK has only been building for Airbus because it was in the EU, the production shared by four EU members.

A hard no deal Brexit could easily threaten that future.

First. I will be very happy if Bombardier in Belfast have any of that order to fulfill. It will help to stem the job losses in the sector. Building of wings is an exacting activity. . So good. However there are caveats. The deal is not 4 billion to NI, substantial amounts will be elsewhere in other Airbus faactories including the newer facility to be constructed in the US as part of the deal.
Secondly, these deals are contingent on a number of factors, and the assumption that NI and Airbus follow EU rules may very well be part of it. Wing manufacturing is a highly specialised craft, but the expertise does reside also elsewhere in the Airbus empire.. Nantes for example.

Oh come on now, division by 3 should not be beyond you.. My actual point was that those numbers in the context of a UK population, do not even register as noise, its three Wembley stadiums or three Croke Park attendances at most.
