Theresa May announced it was Novichok days before it was referred to Porton Down to find out what it was. Both announcements were on national news channels at the time in that sequence. I don't doubt what's available online now says different, exactly what happened in the Litvinenko case when the lies became obvious.

There's no point in arguing with your gullible acceptance of every official line on this issue, so I won't any more. I tried above to return to the thread subject from this dead end discussion and that is all I will respond to here, not the poisoning.

Portland Down are minutes away, doctors, police etc etc knew within an hour or so something unusual was going on. PD will have had samples by evening of 10th.
So why would May make announcement before agent identified ? That would be really stupid and is utterly unbelievable ..no matter what you read into Craig Murray's blog.

And on the 17th the government announced that Porton Down was going to be asked to identify the agent used. That was stated on the national news channels on the 17th and 18th.

There were 150 military personnel in Salisbury by the 9th. 5 days after poisoning and 5 days before May's announcement.

Porton Down were not asked to identify it until after the 17th, and we've learn't they had been reluctant to be specific. There's still no announcement of a definitive statement from Porton Down on the identity.

How can I give you a reference for a national TV news announcement on the 17th? I listened to it in astonishment on the 17th, since, as you say, it so obviously conflicted with what Theresa May had said during the week.

If you are right it was a media or government conspiracy, certainly not mine. Either that or incredible stupidity in news handling by the government, not unknown of course.
