These nouveau hard-line lefties don't seem to like anybody except the tiny minority that agree with their totally debunked ideas. Let them go live in Venezuela and see how price fixing and total central government control ends up.
Or China for that matter, remind me was there a point you were trying to make in that rant somewhere?
As an example of the power held by Venezuela’s president under Chavez-style socialism, since Maduro’s presidency began in 2013 as a result of Chavez’s death, he has ruled by decree multiple times. In Venezuela, Maduro’s rule by decree has allowed him to govern for extended periods of time without the need for legislative approval.
This type of rule is one often used by dictators and other authoritarian-style governments — which is not socialism.
In fact it is very similar to what Mrs May would do if the High Court lost control of her, and is doing with Brexit

Hmmmm. Well. China and Venezuela are poles apart on both central government control (something the Chinese are still shitting their pants about - the lack of it in reality I mean) - or having prices fixed by said government.

The whole point is that China has genuinely allowed much of its economy to allow markets to set prices - and bingo you suddenly see this is a FAR more effective way to figure out what goods to make - than having some control freak leftie telling the factories how much to make.

That description sounds incredibly like the UK to me - has Venezuela modelled its government and economy on the British 'mother of parliaments' then? I didn't know that!

Then again, I suppose one cartel is pretty much like another.

Which brand of Torie's would that be?
a small cohort of tory MPs.
Mrs May, her 3 brexiteers and IDS' gang.
As David Davis said, they have already got 'plans' for all sort of contingencies including no deal.
Did you hear what Anna Soubry said this morning?
Nothing will delight them more than we fall out of the EU asap and without a deal. That will quickly follow by a snap election and Mr Corbyn will hand over power to the tories for another 5 years.
Our problem is that Mr Corbyn does not prioritize the job to prepare labour for government. He and Mr McDonnell are just too lazy.

There is an alternative possibility, Corbyn and co could be ensuring they don't pick up any of the backlash from Brexit, and the bigger the majority May gets in a general election, the less any fal

Corbyn & Who? his troskyist mates? They are not bothered about governing.

There is unlikely any backlash in case of no deal. The tory media will simply claim that the EU wants to punish us and we are not going to let them.

I didn't mean such an immediate point in time, i was referring to a couple of years down line when the economy tanks.

The President of Veneuzuela is not left wing is he? just another fascist dictator under a false flag.
And if you imagine the Chinese Government doesn't control the economy and industry you must be green
Here is a small example

While Beijing is often the focus for media outlets covering air pollution in China, the area between Beijing and Shanghai is where air pollution is often the worst.

Plans for reducing air pollution have been in place since late July in preparation for the commemorations celebrating the end of the war, scheduled for September 3.

The measures include limiting the number of cars that can be on the road on a given day, depending on the license plate number, and stopping industrial factory production. A thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven companies have stopped their production as a result, Caixin reported. This is around five times the number of companies that shut down production ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference last November, according to the South China Morning Post. The purpose was also to have clear skies for that conference.
So much for the freedom of companies, eh?
Pull the other leg!

You don't have a couple of years if Mrs May and IDS' gang controls our parliament. If they call the new election before labour is ready to govern, they'll replace a hundred plus labour MPs with tories.
Mr Corbyn knows it but he is not budging.

There is no time to give MPs a meaningful vote on the Brexit deal, David Davis says
The Brexit Secretary says the timetable did not allow for a vote
There is not enough time to give MPs a meaningful vote on the Government's final Brexit deal with the European Union, David Davis has said.

The Brexit Secretary on Saturday night instructed MPs to remove House of Lords amendments from the Article 50 Bill, one of which would give MPs a meaningful vote to accept or reject the Brexit deal once it had been negotiated.

The Government says MPs can have a vote but that if they reject the negotiated package there will simply be an automatic hard Brexit on WTO terms without any deal – widely regarded as the worst possible Brexit.

This means that MPs would be effectively unable to reject even a terrible deal obtained by ministers.

Asked on Sunday morning why MPs could not be given a more meaningful vote that could send the Government back to the negotiating table to get a better deal, Mr Davis said time was limited and that he could not risk MPs derailing Brexit.

“First thing is, there is a limited time on this. We didn’t choose the timetable, it’s a two year time limit on Article 50. So there’ll be a limit to what you can do,” he told the BBC's Andrew Marr Show.

“Secondly, what we can’t have is either House of Parliament reversing the decision for the British people. They haven’t got a veto – what does it mean otherwise?

“I’m sure there’ll be vote throughout this process, there’ll be a vote on the deal we strike, it will be a ‘meaningful vote’ in the sense that they accept it or not.”

And that is a MEANINGFUL VOTE? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

You only have to ask Mr Corbyn why he agrees with David Davis.
He can move his MPs to oppose it if he wants to.

If Mr Corbyn decided to vote down the bill until Mrs May backs down on the amendments, parliament would function far better and can properly hold government to account.
But he doesn't. Can you explain why?
With Mr Corbyn's support for the bill, Mrs May runs rings around parliament.
Because Corbyn thinks that the Brexit vote was democratic so he needs to direct his MP's in a democratic way. The trouble is that means he has to also support Theresa May.
He could have said that he accepts the principle of Brexit but not the detail, thereby ordering his MP's to vote for the amendments, but I think he is too thick to cope with that.
At least he could have directed the train crash but not stop it.
KudosDave

It would make negotiations pretty tricky from the UK side if they had to keep going back and forth with every proposal and amendment. It's always better to deal with the Organ Grinder and not the monkey and this effectively makes May the Organ Grinder.

No,May will blame the EU when things go wrong, getting the anger of Brexiters behind her. She will say that it was good we are out of such an unreasonable club and Brexiters will agree.
