Wow. Who is this 'Robdon'? Who disagrees with what Tillson wrote there strongly enough to be bothered to tick the menu at the bottom and say so. I guess the truth is some people really don't care about ACTUAL suffering caused to another creature (note Oldgroaner actual suffering not you being offended by seeing your definition of bad language).

I had a similar argument with a 'friend' in the US who was about to dock her dogs ears - to make the dog look better (so she thought - though her argument was that it was for the dog's good). How some people justify such behaviour is beyond me.
Who is robdon? Never heard of him or seen any posts from him.

Maybe he doesn't like animals and puts fluffy bunny rabbits in microwave ovens.

From the Sun
"
Shoplift Charter
Police will ‘ignore all thefts up to £100’ in Hungerford following budget cuts

Shop owners are expected to fill out a form and hand it into police if shoplifters steal less than £100 worth of items"
Councillor Carolann Farrell asked: “So less than £100 and you won’t be coming out?” Sgt Nicholls replied “Yes”. She added: “We need to be more cost effective in these times of austerity.”

“We will be working more closely with the council to deal with somethings – it will be much quicker and more flexible.

“In these times of austerity we need to be more cost effective.”

A fine example of what to expect for the Future perhaps the criminals will approve of this, but who else will?
lets take back control, eh?
The filth are just Jack-booted fascist instruments of the Tory's aren't they oldtom? We don't want them, arresting the disadvantaged & making them help with their enquiries. They only accidentally fall down the station stairs if they do help the pigs, so what's the point? oldtom and I know exactly what's going on here.

First the most objectionable practices like FGM are very much minority issues that we deal with at law. And that discrimination against women is gradually disappearing in London as disadvantaged women take note of our acceptance of them as equals and take control accordingly.

Second, we have all the world's cultures in London including all 300 main languages, and live together ok. The cultures all mix sufficiently, but I don't expect than to mix totally into an old British culture, since that would be wrong for others. Individuality can be enjoyed and celebrated.
.
Can I point out that if Clinton had got in the USA 3 of the world's major countries would have been prime ministered by women.
Look on all the discussion programmes on BBC and Sky,they are dominated by women.....us blokes have got to watch out we'll be relegated to being sperm machines, hehe

Robdon is Oldgroaners fan boy...he actually hits like button on OG,s posts before he,s read them.
I,m in Caribbean at moment and surprised to see UK still chugging along, no fascist overthrow, riots or recession...I,ve sold up in Spain , just bought idyllic spot on Bequia...stuff eu ...diving, sailing and drinking rum is still eminently possible on low pound....
Got to come back to UK to sort a few things, just hope I can avoid all the fascists, OG and Old Tom..
28 degrees, east wind at 18 Kts has disturbed water a bit so no diving, just sailing and drinking rum...ahwell I,ll cope.
Oh and I,m an ebiker now. Hired one on BVI, actually quite good. Preffered the Jeep wrangler but I,m not a troll now...might buy one for Bequia and to have on boat..completely troll free then..

Just remind me again, is the Telegraph a Tory controlled rag intended to manipulate us? It changes so often from gospel truth to fabricated propaganda that I lose track of what it is from one day to the next.
Well spotted tillson it is exactly that, the next question you should be asking is what manner of Tory animal is trying to sell what angle today?
Where is this latest pack of lies intended to herd the readership, and why?

Jonathan Freedland in the Observer made a couple of comments that I found incisive.
He commented that Hammond made no reference to Brexit on his hour long budget speech. He compared him to the head waiter on the Titanic, aware that the ship was about to hit the iceberg, recommending red or white.
He made the overriding Brexit comment that life should be better in the UK on March 2019 than it was on June 2016 ,if not May will be deemed a failure, big task.
The fun starts next Tuesday,rumoured.

How could May let Hammond make such an amateurish mistake over putting up NIC and then to argue that NIC pledge only applied to class1 not class 4,made the error worse.
Then Cameron talking to Fallon described (by lip read) that it was a stupid mistake. It hit the one segment of the people that the Tories did not want to upset and it yielded so little tax revenue.
The timing couldn't have been worse, with Art 50 being triggered next week it was a terrible time to suggest that this government couldn't even achieve a simple budget so how the hell are they going to make a success of complex Brexit.

Translation please, someone?
The Filth: The police

Jack-booted fascist instruments of the Tory's: Ditto

The disadvantaged:

Two translations, reader choice:

1) The unfortunate in our society who, through no fault of their own, need help from the wider society.

2) Unemployed and working in the black economy while claiming benefits and supplementing their income through crime.

Accidentally fall down the station stairs: A critical observation on the number of deaths in police custody.

Help the pigs: Assisting the police, aka. snitching.

Do you really think so?
I think they are so involved in Brexit that May left it to Hammond and spread sheet Hammond just thinks balancing numbers, not the political and social implications of his changes.
Theresa May honeymoon over ,over with the press and the voters, the Tory rebels in parliament might get braver and a few more may question the whole concept of Brexit, with May and Boris in charge.

I don't think MPs are particularly loyal to their leaders, especially the tory MPs.
Mrs May was made MP with one well defined job, after A5 is triggered, who knows what will happen to her in the next two years.

Gina Miller,The Lords,Tony Balr,The judges, the Remoaners,Nicola Sturgeon, have all appeared to be an annoyance to Theresa May but actually they have been a godsend.
They have given her time to get her act together, whether that time has been usefully used will shortly be revealed. But,as important,it has given aggressive Brexiters something to shoot their venom at,remember the judges were 'enemies of the people'
But now May and Co ,after Art 50, are exposed in their abilities, remember Brexit means Brexit and we are going to make a success of it. But maybe she will direct the press's wrath at the EU,to deflect criticism away from her own progress.

But she chose that job and chose Brexit on her CV. She decided that would be the best way for her. Had no Brexit been her choice of the best way, then I am sure she would have argued that it was only advisory and the vote too close to have a conclusive mandate. She wants to be known as Mrs Brexit and will be infamous for that, like Napoleon will always be remembered for Waterloo.
Perhaps she will enjoy retirement on St Helena,we have just paid for a new airport there, hehe.
