Oldtom,
Whilst I respect your right to disagree with the above words, I would be interested to hear precisely what you disagree with

what do you call this poster if not far right?

Trex,

You could interpret this in two ways,
- simply visually depicting the problem of uncontrolled imagration, or
- vilifying immagrents
but for my mind it is at best misguided politics
I do not ascribe to this politics or approach and at last count Farage was not a member of the government, he is just one voice with his following, with clearly limited support from the electorate at large. That is the price we pay in a democracy
Don't tar the Brexit campaign with this, is my request but will surely fall on deaf ears as it serves your purposes

Yes, frankly the only words I ever hear about the far right are from you lot, who are blatantly using the fear of the far right to try and influence the vote.
Your logic seems to go along the lines of
Link Brexit vote to far right
Demonise far right and thus also legitimate and moderate objectors to Europe
Frighten the **** out of swing voters, without need to recourse to persuasive arguments
I am no lover of far right views but this tarring all brexiteers with same brush is deception and lies at its very worst. Most brexiteers subscribe to the views of self governance only not radicle far right extremism, although you will no doubt then insult all of them as stupid and being mislead
You are as bad as those you seek to vilify
So you are denying the existence of far right views, aren't you?
Than try to put a spin on it, with your intended to be witty blaming of the "leave" camp for even mentioning it., and then trying to make out the complete untruth that this is being applied to everyone voting for brexit?
Do, just for a change ,try to engage enough thought to understand the conversation.

No doubting Thomas Mair's position now. Asked to state his name in court he replied:

"Death to traitors, freedom for Britain".

I'll be surprised if he gets a minimum term of less than 30 years.

You have forgotten that this man is a member of our government, representing us in the euro parliament he is therefore not just an outside voice

How on earth do you get from what I said to your above quote

You are a gross distortionist. It's a complete waste of time debating with you. Your mind is completely closed and only hears and sees what it expects or wants to see and hear
Before replying, I regret to say I will no longer be responding to any more of your rubbish, by that I mean "old groaner" it was nice talking with you:)

It is certainly worth a sentence with such a long recommendation but I fear Mair will be adjudged as mentally ill once all the trick cyclists, prison reform types and general do-gooders elevate him to the position of victim.

That being the case, he will be dispatched to the care of one of our special hospitals. My own preference for him would be prison.

I agree with you Tillson. That's the measure of his politics.

Informative?
Surely the numbers (proven facts) show that we're not at breaking point because of the number of immigrants - they are proven to be of benefit to the UK economy. If anything if anyone was to argue that we were at breaking point its because the current and recent UK governments haven't invested the income they've had from tax in services for the growing economy from the growing input they've had. So this isn't the fault of any immigrants, equally its not the fault of people who have kids, or are living longer. Its the fault of the government for not investing properly.

So the poster isn't informative, its pandering to the fears of the uneducated with an image that seems to explain a problem with a solution.

Though I think it's unlikely, even if that does happen, at least the term will be very long, as Ian Brady's crime and subsequent punishment has shown.

Farage knows how to mobilize his troops. The challenge is for remain to tackle the fear that has been there since the last referendum in 75. Avoiding it gives credence to Farage's solution.

Greece with all its economic turmoil, has had the largest amount of immigrants either pass through or stay in camps than any other eu country let alone the UK. Their economy is in shambles and yet Nigel is talking about a UK breaking point? Maybe if the strongest countries of the world didn't bomb the he'll out of everyone to decide who runs the world the people who flee to survive wouldn't have to. But that's a minor issue for Nigel.

The poster is certainly misleading as these migrants are not EU citizens. I am wondering if extreme propaganda during this referendum is what fueled extreme far right people like the killer of MP Cox...

Farage suggested that these immigrants will be given very soon German passports and the right to come to the UK. The EU gains about 5 millions new citizens a year. They all theoretically have the right to come and settle here.

You are either happy to be an EU citizen or not. Farage is obviously not. You either feel that the UK is invaded or not. That's why I think the poster encapsulates Farage's politics.

That's a load of crap. Surely Syrian afghan Pakistan immigrants won't be able to have eu passports just like that. That's the usual scaremongering of ukip. And even if they did, they most likely stay in Germany. I would!

the minimum qualifying period is 7 years in Germany but was as short as 3 in some other countries (Belgium used to be the quickest to give citizenship). In the UK, it's 5 years - that's now the norm. The most difficult to get in is Greece (10 years). There is also some loophole with regard to their spouses and siblings. These are the issues for our government. Successive governments encourage immigration and a lot of Brexiters disagree with this policy. Now is their chance to shout.

And the shout surely should be directed at our Government?
