she'll find the money, it's to buy her place in history.
If she gets replaced before brexit then she'll become the dumbest tory leader in history, next to DC.
If you were dumber than David Cameron, you would NOT want to be remembered in history..

It's Scotland's whisky!

.. oh dear and I thought the Orangemen were parochial. Anyway my understanding is that it was the Irish who were making it first, and then the Scots , who nicked the idea, lost the letter e in whiskey, made it bland and flogged it to the USA.
But what would I know...?

Only if you go for independence. Meanwhile it's UK whisky. :)

You make Cheddar cheese up there, so you can't have it both ways!
.
Independence, there's an idea. We could take back control, no more immigrants selling their semis in London and coming up here buying our castles. We wouldn't be ruled by un-elected Whitehall mandarins. No more EVEL (English votes for everyone's laws). Our courts will decide our laws and not be bound to the UK Supreme Court.............Oh hang on a minute........ :)

At least for the next 18 months or so Scotch Whisky has Regional Protection Status on the E U and must be from Scotland ie it's Scotland's whisky.

Cheddar cheese on the other hand is a generic product which can be made anywhere.

"You may take the tax but you'll never take our whisky."

What a trouble maker you are sometimes... :) Maybe you could try drinking pure malt instead of blended? My clan make the absolute worst tasting whiskey on the face of the earth, at the bottom end of the range, and some very nice more expensive ones.

The Japanese make some damned good whiskey themselves. And lots of other high end stuff you won't be able to afford to buy post brexit.

You don't seem to know that Scotch isn't English.

The reason French agriculture was disappointed with the Canada trade deal is that many AOP cheeses are not protected by the deal, you will be able to buy Basque cheese made in Canada! Way back when I was there I found Scottish Cheddar to be tastier than the English variety and then there is NZ Cheddar...

We've voted Brexit, in two years, foreigners like you won't be allowed to post in here without paying a tariff.

And that's after being stopped at point of entry and having to answer questions before admission.

I find oldtom's infographics offensive.

If he often says something worthwhile, perhaps he can teach you something?
Still waiting for your reaction on the leader of the leave campaign doing his Brexit from Brexit

How many times do I have to tell you I,m not really bothered one way or other about Brexit. Yes, I,d rather leave, for all reasons I,ve said and all experiences I had running a business in France/ Spain...but if we stay...then so be it. What is way more important is having a caring government that can run country. Present lot fail on both counts, personally don't think Corbyn could run a lottery, especially with Abot counting tickets...

You excuse too much with Tom OG, you come over as single minded but decent. Tom is just aggressive and damages debate on here and image of socialism. He is no more a socialist than May is.
His inflammatory links, insults and tone should not be tolerated by mods. He gets away with far too much, and deep down you know it.

But will we let her find the money,if Davis says we have to pay lots and Barnier doesn't seem of a mind to compromise on anything.....May could have a rebellion in parliament, even the Brexiteers and Brexit voters are not going to be happy to pay the EU lots....remember Boris and the House of Lords said we didn't have to give them anything.
So far the EU seem to be in the driving seat and seem to be winning every point on these negotiations...maybe May is right that a no deal is better than a bad deal and we will just crash out.
If we crash out,we could see Labour in power...it's going to be interesting how they are going to fund all their election promises from a very badly hit economy, project fear will become reality.

The Independent have finally woken up to the fact that Brexit may not happen, political sources are quoted.I could have told them that on June 24,2016.
Also there appears a technical fault in the way that Article 50 was drafted....I must say that I don't understand the fault but lawyers feel it could have traction, not another court case.
