And in the fullness of time rejoin the EU when we properly understand it's value, (or not as the case may be)
there is a problem with that strategy.
The EU won't do refund, even partial, on the divorce settlement.
We have to choose between cancelling A50, customs union or just transitional period. If parliament does not take control of the negotiation, TM will sleep walk into transitional arrangement, we'll pay a lot of money for 3 years of protected trade.

For those who havent been to specsavers...it says 'HARD BREXIT MEANS PEOPLE LEAVING UK.....so last year darling ,they are leaving now in droves.
That will cure the immigration problem, except it will be the best people that will leave....the fall in the value of the £ v Euro has hit their incomes. Dont get sick!!!!,you may have no NHS staff left to look after you !!!!

The tories, struggling to cling on to power, are desperately seeking ways to secure the under-40 vote as their reliance on rich, well-to-do pensioners backing their austerity measures has a very limited future.

This buffoon is instructive as to how far out of touch the tory party is:

Any similarity between my username and this old tory bufty in the item above is entirely coincidental.

But it effectively means that the UK admits it's mistake and eats humble pie. It's not a diet they are used to.
I'm still not convinced that BREXIT is a mistake, but there is no shame in admitting to making errors.

OK, I will agree to this
There could be a GOOD outcome from Brexit, if it teaches the British Electorate two things
  1. Not to believe the lies about being "Better on our own"
  2. The Value of re-applying for membership of the EU as a fully participating member state, not as a parasite.

From the Independent today
"
Brexit: Vote Leave chief who created £350m NHS claim on bus admits leaving EU could be 'an error'
Dominic Cummings also described the referendum as a 'dumb idea' - shaping up to be a 'guaranteed debacle'
One of the masterminds behind the Brexit vote has performed an astonishing U-turn by admitting that leaving the EU may be “an error”.

Dominic Cummings, the Vote Leave campaign director, described the referendum as a “dumb idea” before other ideas had been tried to win back powers from Brussels. He has also warned that Brexit is shaping up to be a “guaranteed debacle”, without big changes in Whitehall to deliver a successful negotiation."

Isn't it curious how things have changed?

This from 21st June 2016
"Almost half of those intending to vote to leave the EU, believe the referendum will be rigged against them, a startling new poll has found.

Forty-six per cent of all Leave voters think it's "probably true" that the vote on Thursday will be altered by the authorities, according to the YouGov poll for LBC.

This compares to just 11% of Remain voters. Overall 28% of all voters believe the vote will be fixed.

And when the result was declared suddenly this was "Unquestionably the will of the people!"
What an amazing about face when the result that was desired came up.

There exists some awkward questions about methods of persuasion used, funds expended and the motives of the primary characters involved, never mind how truthful the various sides were, aside from the obvious fact that the referendum isn't even legally binding, nor reached a high enough level of support to be considered a mandate, when so little was known and understood by all participants on either side of the issue.

And when quite possibly, there are revelations that the Referendum was in fact Altered or interfered with would those same people who were convinced it would be tampered with against their desired result be prepared to believe evidence that it was in fact true that it had been fiddled in the opposite way?
No wonder the referendum has been described as "A lie sold to a willing audience"
Could this be true of the result itself?

And now see the latest polls here
http://whatukthinks.org/eu/questions/should-the-united-kingdom-remain-a-member-of-the-european-union-or-leave-the-european-union-asked-after-the-referendum/

Perhaps extended exposure to the rather obvious disadvantages that Brexit incurs is beginning to register slowly but surely on the Public Consciousness?

But by no means stop the process now, let the lesson commence.

The day that May signed the deal with the DUP was the day that Brexit died.
The leading Tories have no more stomach for the fight.
Jeremy Hunt lost it today....in answering Heidi Alexander (Labour) in answering how he was going to staff the NHS up to and post Brexit,Hunt blamed Brexit as the root of his problem, the pay crisis making things worse....NO NO,He had just killed off the last remnant of government in the Tory policies.
Trying to help but actually making things worse,Andrew Morrison (Conservative) stupidly said that we could always replace the EU nurses and doctors with those from India,hehe...NO NO,He had just swopped one lot of migrants for another lot....migration down to tens of thousands!!!
But how do we go back to the EU and keep some pride after admitting.....we made a bad mistake and want to stay in now....I can hear Juncker ' sorry your names not on the list but if you give us a big enough bung we may let you back'....should be ok we are good at handing out bribes.

Be fair, if we Plead insanity and ask for Article 50 back it was Nigel Farage, Boris and Gollum who were to blame, who in Europe, or for that matter anywhere in the known World, would think that was unreasonable?

After all we could point out that our present plight has done more for unity among the other 27 nations than any other factor in a generation.

In any case we British are known all over the world as being quite mad, so really they shouldn't have been surprised that this happened.

Sorry for any inconvenience, etc., etc, can we keep our rebates please?

Don't mention Maggies 50% rebate, that could be the penalty for starting this folly in the first place....can you imagine what Brexiters would make of Brexit being abandoned and us paying £22 billion to stay in,lots of toys thrown out of prams !!!!
Question time will be lively.
Have we all noticed that IDS,Rees-Mug,Bone,Redwood and even Farage are very quiet at the moment....the rats have jumped into the lifeboats after strapping May to the ships wheel, keeping quiet so she doesn't notice.
