It's such a shame that the rest of Labour are such muppets, it makes them unelectable.
OK, so Diane Abbott's mathematics ability would not make her a good choice for Chancellor of the Exchequer, but the other lot have Boris Johnson as Foreign Minister, for his diplomatic skills?

If Labour are unelectable, by the same token the Tories are.

Little wonder many say they will not be voting.

Totally agree.

You forgot to mention May, who thinks that to negotiate, you must first tie the other persons hands behind their back and then punch them in the face until they agree with you. Whenever she comes up against someone who is on an equal footing, she invariably fails.

Those would be the anti-socialist, pink tory, career politicians who fly under any flag of convenience in search of a winnable parliamentary seat. Rupert Murdoch loves all those latter-day, Blairite, buyable MPs who are the backbone of the 'Anyone but Corbyn' movement.

For what it's worth, while I agree with your sentiment 'Tillson', I am no longer convinced that your last three words are by any means certain and I am not one usually disposed to wishful thinking.

Dreadful news again from London, this time looking very much like a "Wannabee" attack inspired by over publicising the previous more highly organised atrocity.
We really need to stop feeding the emotions of these evil nut case religious maniacs by wallowing in fear and public grief in the media, and do a little more actual work sorting them, their supporters and where they congregate out quietly and efficiently in the background.

Incarceration or explusion being the appropriate remedy, not persecuting the religion they mistakenly believe they represent.
Unless we do then there will be more attacks of a spontaneous nature, that having the surveillance apparatus of a Police state does and can do nothing to prevent.
And the Media will sieze the chance to give them more free publicity.

As Tom suggested earlier need to stop indulging in these inflammatory wars of agression over resources in the Middle East, and no longer support Regimes on either side of these religious conflicts.

Naturally those of limited intelligence in both Parliament and Public will despite all logic cling to the notion that there is an answer to be found in either local repression or escalating the conflicts overseas.

My Condolences to the victims. of these unspeakable acts, and also to the Police who were forced to shoot to kill, and will be scarred personally in the process.
And let us not forget, not only are Non Muslim members of the Public fearful of these atrocities, but so are Muslim citizens who must fear that they will face a backlash too.
This situation needs more talent than the Conservative Government can or would be willing to extend to sort it out.
State violence will no more protect the public that the so called "War on Terror" did.
We need, as Corbyn said a Peaceful solution.

Here is a little "light relief" which if true is actually quite alarming!
https://www.voltairenet.org/article185860.html
"
On 10 April 2014, the USS Donald Cook entered the waters of the Black Sea and on 12 April a Russian Su-24 tactical bomber flew over the vessel triggering an incident that, according to several media reports, completely demoralized its crew, so much so that the Pentagon issued a protest [1].

The USS Donald Cook (DDG-75) is a 4th generation guided missile destroyer whose key weapons are Tomahawk cruise missiles with a range of up to 2,500 kilometers, and capable of carrying nuclear explosives. This ship carries 56 Tomahawk missiles in standard mode, and 96 missiles in attack mode.

The US destroyer is equipped with the most recent Aegis Combat System. It is an integrated naval weapons systems which can link together the missile defense systems of all vessels embedded within the same network, so as to ensure the detection, tracking and destruction of hundreds of targets at the same time. In addition, the USS Donald Cook is equipped with 4 large radars, whose power is comparable to that of several stations. For protection, it carries more than fifty anti-aircraft missiles of various types.

Meanwhile, the Russian Su-24 that buzzed the USS Donald Cook carried neither bombs nor missiles but only a basket mounted under the fuselage, which, according to the Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta [2], contained a Russian electronic warfare device called Khibiny.

As the Russian jet approached the US vessel, the electronic device disabled all radars, control circuits, systems, information transmission, etc. on board the US destroyer. In other words, the all-powerful Aegis system, now hooked up - or about to be - with the defense systems installed on NATO’s most modern ships was shut down, as turning off the TV set with the remote control.

The Russian Su-24 then simulated a missile attack against the USS Donald Cook, which was left literally deaf and blind. As if carrying out a training exercise, the Russian aircraft - unarmed - repeated the same maneuver 12 times before flying away.

After that, the 4th generation destroyer immediately set sail towards a port in Romania.

Since that incident, which the Atlanticist media have carefully covered up despite the widespread reactions sparked among defense industry experts, no US ship has ever approached Russian territorial waters again.

According to some specialized media, 27 sailors from the USS Donald Cook requested to be relieved from active service.

Vladimir Balybine - director of the research center on electronic warfare and the evaluation of so-called "visibility reduction" techniques attached to the Russian Air Force Academy - made the following comment:

"The more a radio-electronic system is complex, the easier it is to disable it through the use of electronic warfare."

Even if the article is fiction, that last paragraph highlights the vulnerability of weapon systems like Trident, a frightening thought!

On second thoughts Hysterical Laughter that the world has come to this is more appropriate.
If I was that Russian pilot I would have done a Victory roll as I left and had a picture of the Destoyer painted on the planes nose as a "kill" (or perhaps even 12 of them) and emailed my gun camera film to the Pentagon and American Press.

Remember the evil bitch whose idea of diplomacy was to launch a task force and bring about hundreds of deaths and thousands of injured and maimed, both physically and psychologically in order to consolidate her

Some years ago we had vile things happening "for getting their message across" and getting lots of publicity.

So I stopped watching the news or reading newspapers, I don't feel I've missed out.

I am aware of what is going, hard not to. It just shows the intensity of the news barbardment. I suspect it's the cheapest tv & column inches for the news purveyors.

It's selling the idea for more atrocities, pain and suffering from the misguided few.

Absolutely, but the BBC is at it again this morning, cancelling the normal programs on BBC 1 from 11am and having an hour long extra news program to do the terrorist's propaganda work.

Came across this but the punctuation was shocking. I have managed to tidy it up a little without completely losing the message or the spontaneity of it......well, a little maybe goes out the window.

Teresa May, 'Strong and Stable’,
Stole the food from the children's table

Took away their daily bread
Then stole gran's house when she was dead

To pay for care when she was ill
When fighting a war should have paid the bill!

Set out to kill the remaining old
By taking cash when it gets cold

Then cut the pensions of those left
A nasty, evil hateful theft.

Now she wants us to tick the boxes
So she can bring back killing foxes

No police, no fire or ambulance crews
If you're robbed, or trapped or hurt, you're screwed

With tax breaks for her corporate chums
And 'rape tests' for multiple mums

Is this a place you want to live?
Where you get less back than what you give

Well, I'll tell you this, I'll tell you straight;
The choice is yours on June the 8th.

Here is an example of the Crass stupidity of the Tory mind
"
Jeremy Corbyn's desire for dialogue with extremists is not just absurd, but dangerous
Charles Moore

And this is from a supposedly well educated Journalist, so let's look at the Problem pragmatically

"Islam is the second largest religion in the United Kingdom, with results from the United Kingdom Census 2011 giving the UK Muslim population in 2011 as 2,786,635, 4.4% of the total population. The vast majority of Muslims in the United Kingdom live in England: 2,660,116 (5.02% of the population).

So what do we do? treat 5% of the population as enemy aliens, or start using our brains to seek a rational solution, and it isn't helped when the senior Female clown comes out with guff like this

"Speaking outside Downing Street, Mrs May said that although there was no direct link between the three incidents, "terrorism breeds terrorism"."
And of course has nothing whatever to do with the Wars we keep stoking up in the Middle east or the free publicity the Media stokes the fires of racial tension with every time there is a tragedy?
How stupid and Blind can that be?

We appear to have utterly lost the sense we had during the Second World War when we denied the enemy the satisfaction of knowing we were suffering at their hands and indeed had the good sense to jump on people who were spreading fear among the population by over reacting.

The journalists we see on screen and writing in the Newspapers would have quite rightly found themselves behind bars for actions that help our enemies
"Enough is enough!" she cries, and it is...

No more foreign wars of aggression to stoke Jihadi actions, and a clamp down on giving their cause free publicity too.

From the Express this morning

"
Five days to save Brexit: Vote Conservative or there WILL be second referendum, says Davis
VOTERS have just five days left to make sure Britain leaves the EU, senior Tory Cabinet minister David Davis warned last night."

Perhaps he isn't confident that the result of a Third referendum would not result in a leave vote?

What is all of this, "enough is enough" garbage that is flowing out of Mrs May's cake hole? Wasn't Manchester quite enough for her? Did she need a modicum of additional terrorist activity before she could display the requisite amount of strength and stability?

I suspect that "enough is enough" means that those who have, quite rightly been opposed to further unwarranted intrusion into our personal lives, are now weakened "enough" by the present media hysteria, for her to ride roughshod over them. This is exactly how she operates. She failed with this snooping legislation last time, when the playing field was level and thinking was unemotional. Now, emotions are running high, driven by a candle lighting & flower littering orgy of self pity amoungst the public. May will exploit and capitalise upon this foolishness and I expect to see some bad legislation rushed through.

The "police" response to the latest incident is false. I suspect that these "coppers" were all called Mick (ask no questions) and were on secondment to The Met from Hereford. If this latest incident had happened in a county town or city it would have been a very different story. You would be lucky to get just 2 armed officers on scene within 30 minutes. This is entirely due to the actions of our strong and stable leader.

I sincerely hope the turd doesn't achieve any sort of majority on Thursday. Dangerous times lay ahead if she does.

Strange times already Tillson...
Daily Mail actually has an almost positive article about Corbyn and an anti May one..??!!!
Labour will get in in my area and I will be supporting them on Thursday but thought May's comments post last attack were decent. She was accused of pushing party politics on day it was suspended,IMO she was acting as PM of the country. Would have taken more stick had she said nothing.
And all the anti May posters, where would we be had she not stood in when other rats left ship.
She is doing a difficult job in terrible times, probably worst situation for a PM since WW2 and not of her making.( not entirely anyway)
Who would you sooner have ? Boris ? Gove ? Osborne? Cameron?
She,s best of a bad bunch.

This situation is in the case of terrorism definitely to be laid at the door of Parliament on both sides of the house, as well as the responsibility she holds personally.
Who would I rather have instead?

A schematic of interest
But you forget to mention the most important aspect. The thing that sits above life itself. Cold, hard, dirty, stinking cash. Each time the events go full circle, some people get richer and that is all that matters. Everything else in the cycle is nothing in comparison to money. It's called human nature and it's vile

if you sell arms, that is not the cycle of international stupidity.
That's is the releasing profit cycle.
the UK is the second in world ranking for selling weapons.
