it seems to me that remainers are going to get the deal they want,
I didn't realise that the idea of Brexit was being dropped, believe me that is the ony deal that will satisfy remainers.

Ok, then Zlatan, lets try to make this more positive.

Which country do you want the UK to be like, or what model are you hoping we'll be able to adopt.

Sell it to us.
I think he want us to be like .......Luxembourg... from the way he has described it, it's the sort of Mafia Gambling Casino he loves

Actually the one I,ve built is loads better than purchased one. To be fair I didn't build it from scratch. Started with a Sea Doo Dolphin, which is little more than a kids pool toy with a 40w motor..but housing is nice. I,ve extended housing by 40 cm with air duct piping. Replaced 40 w motor with a 400w electric drill ( utilised gearbbox cos prop needs to rotate circa 300rpm) fitted a 400 wh battery, two magnetic reed switches, a 20 amp inline fuse...a couple of plywood bulkheads...one of dearest things was making custom gaskets for 120mm tubing...
But it works great. Pulls me along nicely at 4mph. ( fast for us divers) But...wouldnt let me take it on plane...so had to make do with flippers...
I,d upload some pics but phone wont on here..
Ps..think drill is on its last legs...only paid £16 off ebay...but I can smell ozone or something when I open hull up...but its a 10min job fitting another drill.
(24 volt tho)
And yes its just like a little yellow submarine...apart from white ducting.
Total cost...£136...similar powered Seadoo would be £2.5k...And put new stern glands in it..( glands for cable but with O ring rather than rubber block..Seadoo version £83...mine ..£6.32 plus 12p for O ring..Works perfect but not been deeper than 10ft yet...???Big test will be at 60 ft..

Its quite ironic that Brexiteers on here are told we have ( ok I have) a tenuous link to facts but all remain are quite happy saying EU has prevented war in Europe. Its such a broad , sweeping statement , containing no facts at all .
It could easily be said the two things are totally disrelated.
Did I EVER accuse you of having a tenuous link to facts?
I must be slipping in my old age, apologies are due
I humbly submit that in any of my posts directed at you using the word "tenuous" I actually meant "never in a million years."
Sorry about that

I have 7 sea-scooters in stock, going cheap. It pulls me at about 2mph-3mph. Fast enough for me.

Lithium battery, looking like this one:

That housing looks very similar to mine before I fitted a 40cm long 120mm tube between prop housing and ballast compartment...Mines yellow tho..
They are great fun...but I tell you what I tried a subwing on holiday. Behind a 4hp ( yes 4hp) 2.7 metre rib...and they are brilliant. Its like an underwater wing with wings on a horizontal mount so you can move wings independently.. Boat pulls you along at 3mph ( yes 3mph) on a 40 foot line.. You can dive, go up and down to your hearts content..( no bends ir embolisms cos its on one breath) Spin and track sideways.. Google subwing..fantastic thing...but you need a little boat and a driver !!! Actually preferred subwing to diving in last trip...
It feels different to sea scooter...flows more...
I,m going to take Old Tom and OG along, would be great having them on end of a 40 ft rope...Sharks would soon scarper I reckon.

It sounds as if there is a need for a cooling system such as a larger version of one of these

and who will decide to have another referendum? why would you want to entrust this task to the same MPs you did not trust to enable A50?
The way the EU works is quite simple, as JC Juncker said: 'there can be no democratic choice against the european treaties'.
Keep voting until most of those who disagree with the EU stop voting.
I am not selling brexit - just content to spell out the problems with remaining.

PS: BTW, some remainers use dislikes/disagrees to make a point.

... I found the quote from Junker to which you refer . As written it does not fit well with the western European notions of democracy. However it was not actually a sentence, it was a phrase in a sentence which concluded with ... "Otherwise they would need to leave the EU."
The Context was in the euro debate and , this is my assumption, that in his opinion the participants were not free to walk away from treaty decisions they had made on an ad hoc or on an "al a carte" basis. From the timing I suspect that it was following a Greek election referendum on austerity.

When we find out what the terms are, yes indeed, the people should have the chance to back out if they want to, after all they made the choice, and they should choose whether they accept it or not

...Unfortunately I do not think that that option will be available. See my previous posts on the topic.

it's not just JCJ though. There are plenty more quotes where that one came from. The upper echelons of the EU are all federalists and seem to treat subsidiarity like something best forgotten.

Could be but drill has a fan and I put one on shaft inside to move air around...cant see it getting hot in there...housing is water cooled...I think motor is just on its way out...
Being a drill motor it's probably brushed and brush arcing produces ozone that can be smelt even in free air. In an enclosed space it will accumulate and may not mean the motor is on its way out yet.
