Will OG and Tom come back on here in 6 months when country isn't on its last legs and fascist gangs aren't roaming streets hanging people and say they were wrong.Nope they will do an Osbourne but they,ll carry on with their drivvle.
At least Osbourne has had decency to shut up, and not insult folk.

Tom claims EU has helped to keep peace in Europe since its formation, and he might be right. However its people with his attitude of superior understanding and bigotry that causes such extreme conflict that results in war. Good job he,s not in any position of authority or influence and his ramblings are confined to a bicycle forum !! At least we can all be thankful to that.
Tillson made a good point in last post, Tom does seem to hate quite a lot. A peculiar trait for an antifascist.

Even if BREXIT delivered untold riches, ended conflict in every corner of the world, cured disease and eradicated famine, you would still be anti-BREXIT, just because its name is BREXIT and your mind corroding reading material instructs you that BREXIT is bad. Heseltine can hold whatever opinions he likes, the vast majority of which have been diametrically opposed to my political standpoint over several decades. On this occasion, he has come out with something with which I agree - no big deal, particularly as he is the 'woman scorned' in the higher echelons of the fascist party right now.

I presented it without comment as many of the fools who contribute nonsense here in the 'Brexit' cause won't have seen the piece but it so happens that Heseltine is correct in his appraisal and I knew that the fools wouldn't like to see his views further publicised.

And by the way we,d still have this government Brexit or otherwise, infact the only possible way for us not to have this government is via Brexit, albeit perhaps indirectly. No OG, you are inconsistent. I am no fan of the Daily Mail, but in the past you have totally condemned it. That is fine and of course you are entitled to do so. But you can not then be selective and quote extracts from the same paper which suit your point of view. How can that be credible?

The same with the Conservative party. You claim that BREXIT is a Tory plot to screw us all. A dastardly master plan to trample on the working classes. But how come one of their stalwarts, Heseltine, is opposing it? How come Cameron opposed it? How come Osbourne opposed it? How come a sizeable portion of the Tory party opposed it? The answer of course is that the great "Tory plot" is only happening inside your head and outside the constraints of the gossamer thin veneer of bone which represents your skull, nothing of the sort is taking place.

OK, I see your point regarding the Mail and that particular story. I still think you are getting way ahead of reality with regard to where we are going with worker's rights. We will just have to disagree on that one.

I still have difficulty with the Tory BREXIT plot theory though, seeing as so many prominent Tory party members were opposed to it, and the part itself gives the impression of being reluctant passengers. The plot theory simply doesn't add up, unless I am missing something?

Who's robdon? I've not seen anything from him on here other than a link which flecc posted to another topic and an amusing contribution from him. There weren't any insults in the post from robdon, so that rules out oldtom, so it could be.........
