thats the thing with studios there just a money pit and why most of them went bust when i got the genelecs and when the pc/mac started to take over and then the 16 track recorders and samplers bit the dust.
Hardware is expensive - more and more top selling albums are produced in bedroom studios, but I hate the way a lot of bleeds everywhere sonically, especially digital reverbs. Quite often, it even bleeds on the timeline. Pre-bleed. Post-bleed. Bloody computers!

I'm still getting to grips with the rules of melody and harmony, but having never studied music, it's slow going and I've been at it 10 years so far. Fsck I'm glad I'm a tinkerer, not a musician - the way to end up with a large fortune in the music business, is to start with a much larger fortune...

do you have any hardware like compressors a half decent valve one will make those drums sound soo much better.

just listen when he patches in different ones but that patching system is bad ass as 96 way patch bays full up gets really confusing let alone the ones at the end of a giant mixing desk.

I have quite a large network of musician friends with all this stuff... who mostly focus on production of various techno (and it's ever more numerous and weird-sub genres), dance, rock, dnb, folk, Jazz, Acid etc. I can send sounds to have crafted any way I like, and I have in the past - but's all a gigantic waste of time if there are no good musical ideas, hence my focusing on composition, because production is something pretty much any Larry can do given time and application. Composition however, isn't. Lately, I've been trying it during self-induced lucid dreaming, which itself isn't easy either.

the fiet money system is finished it is all going to crash one way or another as you cant keep printing money when it is backed buy nothing other than governments debts and bonds.

paper money is in reality worthless now so time to go after all the real assets like houses so you will own nothing and cant do anything about it because the corporations and banks will own it all.

they never got rid of slavery they just replaced it with debt.

Climate change: Can an enormous seaweed farm help curb it?

Yes, but like some of the weed and algae varieties on our
inland waters now, it will go out of control and take over vast areas.

Bringing key world shipping to a halt.

We're very good at accidentally starting such endemics, but very poor at stopping them.

However bookies reflect not any form of reality but just the bets that have been placed (and a little bit of adjustment to improve their profit - they hope). They are at best a straw poll of betting people.
Perhaps, but we're in an odd undemocratic space where pollsters, bookies and markets are protecting us from proto fascists who would otherwise have hapilly ran the country into the ground

Thanks -
