Do you think they will have you back? Didn't work too well the first time around, you sent Farage as MEP...
Darn it! you have spotted the weakness of the plan, but plan B might work..

Use the old Navaho Indian trick of Screaming and Begging.

We only had to do that Three times before they allowed us to join in the First place.

Here is my suggestion for the content Mr's Mays letter invoking Article 50

" To the European Parliament, I am invoking article 50 .
PLEASE ACCEPT MY RESIGNATION. I DON'T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT ME AS A MEMBER.

I does draw just a little on a Groucho Marx quote, and why not? this is a comedy after all!

Only about 30 million more signatures needed then and they might have a majority.

Look, whether these protestors like it or not, Donald Trump is the elected head of state in the USA. He has won the presidency under the system which operates in that country. The same system under which Obama was elected.

Donald Trump will visit the UK on a state visit. That is what should happen. If the UK government have issues with some of his policies, they should make it known via official channels in a dignified and professional manner.

How arrogant and hypocritical that a bunch of tea-light burning chanting clowns in this country believe that they have a right to interfere in USA democracy.

At least Donald Trump has not made threats to the British people in the same way that Obama did when he visited. How rude and un-statesman like was that?

As democratically elected head of state, Donald Trump is entitled to and will receive a state visit to the UK. The U.K. has a friend in the USA, so get used to it.
Trump making threats to the British people....give him time,it will only be a matter of time before we do something he doesnt like....maybe doing a trade deal with Japan and backdooring Toyota vehicles into the US.
Where is Melania? Since the inaugaration she has dissappeared,Michelle was active from day one, maybe she can't stand the bloke but stayed by his side during the election campaign for appearances.

Inconsistency? in what way, as no matter what Mrs May does there will still be trade between us and the EU, and that requires an agreement to continue.
As to Verhofstadt thinking we will remain in the single market, that is your assumption, and not necessarily his.
I suspect he is simply sweeping up after the party ends.
If there is no trade deal we can say goodbye to Nissan and co within a few weeks!
If you say goodbye to Nissan in the UK,you might as well say goodbye to Sunderland and say goodbye to Theresa May,there will be riots in Sunderland if Nissan is forced to relocate to Europe.

This is the kind of treatment that our fascist government continues to dish out to some of the poorest and neediest people in British society. While the careerist PM goes and prostitutes herself in Turkey and the USA, her grovelling acolytes are still treating sick people worse than criminals.

Brexit will not stop the evil that fascists do. Human rights will cease to exist and employment laws will disappear from statute.

These serial moaners have no business interfering in foreign democracy.

Donald Trump will be visiting and he should be made welcome. He should also be left in no doubt that we, the UK, disagree with some of his policies.

The nonesense we are seeing is not the proper way forward. It creates a bad impression.
Things may have died down by Trump's visit but at the moment I can only see massive and violent protests if he comes here....but knowing Trump he will say that the crowds are the largest ever to 'welcome' a US President, hehe

Vladimir Putin to launch world’s first nuclear icebreaker fleet for IMMENSE arctic army

He's actually building ....wait for it......... 3
What on earth is the Daily Express on about? The Russians created the worlds first nuclear powered ship, the ice-breaker NS Lenin, launched in 1957.

Over the years they've altogether built 10 civilian nuclear powered ships, 9 of them icebreakers. The latest three are just bringing the fleet up to date for maintaining their northern seaways year round.

They have little military significance since the strength of the Russian Northern Fleet is submarines and they don't need icebreakers. In 1962 two of their submarines went from the Atlantic to the Pacific travelling under the North Pole and in 1963 another of their nuclear submarines travelled 25,000 miles around the world entirely under water without surfacing once. Like Polaris and Trident subs they can fire missiles from under the water and can surface through ice sheets to break to the surface.

The Express really should do a little research before publishing such nonsense.

I agree. I foresee violent protests because that is what scum do. They commit violent act of damage to property and assault people. However, that is absolutely no reason to not host Donald Trump. The criminal rabble can be dealt with.

So the number on Nurses coming in has reduced to a tenth in our hour of need?
And people are dying for the lack of sufficient Nurse to care for them?

Which rather reinforces the point made by Remain voters like myself that the people who voted to leave the EU had no idea of the consequences of that action
For who in their right mind would have voted to stem the flow of Nurses into the UK?

Just how does one equate that with taking back control of immigration, we will decide who we want to come here?

How do you get around the fact that they have obviously decided that the UK has too low a standard of Welcome for them to do us the honour of working here?
Now we will have to eat humble pie and beg them to come, and no doubt bribe them to do so, which we the people will pay for.

And this is just one small example of how foolish the decision reached (just) in the advisory only Referendum will prove to be.

The Goodness has Flowed all right as tillson predicted.
Trouble is it has flowed everywhere else rather than here.

But hey! lets all leap over the cliff edge together, hoping it's high tide down there when we get to the bottom!

You're ranting tillson forgetting that one on Trump's fans did far worse than any of that when killing people at that Canadian Mosque.
Demonstrators are not criminal rabble, are you going to continue trying to get a reputation as the sort of person you assert you despise, that stereotypes people and stigmatises them.
Google it and see what kind of attitude it identifies.

Let's get two things straight.

1) The killings st the mosque can not be laid at Donald Trump's door or at any of those people who voted for Donald Trump.

2) People who destroy property belonging to others and assault people in violent protest over something such as a state visit by a democratically elected head of state are scum.

Scum will be washed off the streets and down the nearest sewer by a high pressure hose.

Dignified protest done in a peaceful manner which does not injure or damage property belonging to others is a different matter.

I can't answer for them, but if they do engage in violent protest, they deserve to be on the receiving end of whatever it takes to neutralise them. Violence should never prosper.

Personally, if BREXIT doesn't work out, I'll swallow the consequences. However, I don't think BREXIT will fail.
