Not to mention having guns around the place!
What other nation manages to take almost 12,000 fatal casualties in ten years from Friendly Fire?
And I Imagine there will also be the odd couple of dozen who only had a little daylight drilled though various body parts too?
Oh yes, that figure would be interesting, and one wonders how many the US Police "Ventilated" in the cause of duty in that time?
Some were undoubtedly justified, but there's a big question mark over far too many cases.
And then the response can see a little strange, after one deserving villain was shot the attitude of the Coroner was shall we say not too sympathetic!

"The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied "when you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die."

Undeniably true as the precision required to perforate the human body 68 times without hitting something vital would be remarkable!
About the only way that could be accomplished would be to have the victim nailed down and employ the skills of a Tattoo artist!

I think you understate the problem. These are not cumulative figures, I understand but annual rates in a population of 300 million

Theresa May has selective democracy....Brexit must be supported because it is the 'will of the people' , but 1.5 million Brits who don't want Trump here and voted on the petition were ignored by May as a nuisance,May the Appeaser won't have a bad word or action against the Trump.
It is said that Trump is delivering on his election promises, shame May doesn't intend to deliver on the promises made prior to Brexit.

From the Express
"
TRUMP POLL: 99 per cent of Express readers AGREE with US President's tough migrant stance"
This is a poor result for the Express, they usually expect at least 120% support in any polls they run.
Call me Mr 1% from now on!

The Express could do to employ journalists who understand the difference between "order" and "urge"
"
NUCLEAR FALLOUT: Trump officials ORDER North Korea to STOP nuke tests amid WW3 tensions
PRESIDENT Trump’s officials have urged North Korea’s warmongers to stop fuelling “tensions” in the region, shortly after the country announced horrifying developments in its nuclear weapons armoury.
But the this is the Express after all, and high standards are a bit of a waste in this comic for grown ups
Here is another example

Only about 30 million more signatures needed then and they might have a majority.

Look, whether these protestors like it or not, Donald Trump is the elected head of state in the USA. He has won the presidency under the system which operates in that country. The same system under which Obama was elected.

Donald Trump will visit the UK on a state visit. That is what should happen. If the UK government have issues with some of his policies, they should make it known via official channels in a dignified and professional manner.

How arrogant and hypocritical that a bunch of tea-light burning chanting clowns in this country believe that they have a right to interfere in USA democracy.

At least Donald Trump has not made threats to the British people in the same way that Obama did when he visited. How rude and un-statesman like was that?

As democratically elected head of state, Donald Trump is entitled to and will receive a state visit to the UK. The U.K. has a friend in the USA, so get used to it.

OG, question for you.
I am puzzled by noises from the EU's negotiators. Guy Verhofstadt was on Newsnight repeating that the UK can't pick and choose. Fair enough. Then he went on about wanting a fair trade deal. If the UK is out of the single market and customs union then is any trade deal pick and choose?

Nope, just whatever the EU is prepared to offer out of their own interest, surely that is obvious?
After all are you forgetting the EU has trade deals all around the world?
We can almost certainly have one, just not on the good terms we have now.

I was more interested in the inconsistency of the EU's position.
Verhofstadt assumes that the UK will want to remain in the single market, while brexiters clearly don't see value in it. He should perhaps take Mrs May's words literally.

You are beginning to lose a sense of proportion, are you saying that they don't have a right to protest about someone supposedly representing a country you want us to suck up to, that condones torture and concentration camps, being an invited and honoured guest?

let's have the Mafia over as well and give them a good time.
And fat boy from North Korea too. like you he's keen on "Cheese"
It's more a case of a Smug clown over here complaining when people are well within their rights demonstrating against what is so obviously wrong.

And resorting to insulting then too?
Childish. you should know better than to do that.

What is appalling is how low you are prepared to go in the hope that someone will throw enough crumbs our way to keep the Brexit leaking boat from going down with all hands.
If you think America gives a damn about us you are mistaken.

Inconsistency? in what way, as no matter what Mrs May does there will still be trade between us and the EU, and that requires an agreement to continue.
As to Verhofstadt thinking we will remain in the single market, that is your assumption, and not necessarily his.
I suspect he is simply sweeping up after the party ends.
If there is no trade deal we can say goodbye to Nissan and co within a few weeks!

These serial moaners have no business interfering in foreign democracy.

Donald Trump will be visiting and he should be made welcome. He should also be left in no doubt that we, the UK, disagree with some of his policies.

The nonesense we are seeing is not the proper way forward. It creates a bad impression.

These people are in no position to interfere in foreign democracy, and where do you get "serial moaners" from?

This is a NEW situation not the long standing Brexit rubbish, trying to tie them together is just more of your nonsense.

And when TM is gloating about holding his hands these protesters are doing exactly what you claim to want, leaving him in no doubt that his policies are actively disagreed with here.
Which she has refused to do with any conviction

So really you have nothing to complain about, do you?
Don't you like democracy? when it doesn't go your way, as you are so fond of saying?
"Get over it" comes to mind

You do realise they are protesting about him coming here. Not interfering in foreign democrazy.

Also, I think it creates a great impression. So we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

Err should I report an obvious hacking OG in fulsome agreement with Tillson:eek:
Time to employ a statement made by my old friend's son when caught damaging the greenhouse with a football
"It wasn't me...than after a slight pause...but I won't do it again"
I remember us both laughing, the lad looking puzzled, and my remarking," that lad of your's will go far," and Kens response
"With luck he'll take the bloody ball with him when he goes!"

When you wear "Brexit Goggles" complaining about anything earns you the honorific "Remoaner" or equivalent.
Only subservience and touching the forelock to your "betters" will do.

Great news for everyone! the wait is nearly over and Article 50 will almost certainly be triggered within days.
We will all get out of this what we want, as the spineless politicians in Parliament will not dare dissent

Those who voted for Brexit in the Short term
Those who voted for Remain in the Long term.

This Atheist will now misquote an old religious saying

"The wheels of Sanity grind slowly
But they grind exceeding small"

Just substituted "Sanity" for God

From the Independent
"
Quebec Mosque shooting suspect was a fan of Donald Trump and Marine le Pen
Alexandre Bissonnette was described by one former classmate as a 'nerdy outcast'
The French-Canadian student charged in connection with a shooting spree that killed six people at a Quebec City mosque was a supporter Donald Trump and far-right French politician Marine Le Pen.

Described by one former classmate as a "nerdy outcast." Alexandre Bissonnette, is the sole suspect in the shooting.

The 27-year-old was charged with six counts of first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder with a restricted weapon. Police said he acted alone."

This is the result of promoting racial tensions, it encourages the idiot fringe into believing extremist acts are justified.

They have so far.
A lot can happen in two years, Trump may be gone in 2021, we may rejoin the EU in 2025.

Do you think they will have you back? Didn't work too well the first time around, you sent Farage as MEP...
