Because spelling it out so often prompts some food or exercise bore to come in with one or more crackpot theories on what is best for me.Spell it out. Why not? Otherwise it's very vague - "Healthily" is relative, isn't it? That entire set of paragraphs that this sentence was part of took some time to write, yet there's no detail about what you consider healthy.
Yep, as I suspected, you simply didn't want your diet to be scrutinised... but have you considered that others, including food faddists and vegan weirdos, could learn something from you? Fear of anything is bad. And quite a lot of good can sometimes come from crackpot theories.Because spelling it out so often prompts some food or exercise bore to come in with one or more crackpot theories on what is best for me.
Healthy and healthily are primarily determined by what is definitely known and proven to be generally healthy, no unproven fads or fashions. Secondarily determined by what is healthy for the individual and their personal circumstances.

That last short sentence is an assumption, you don't know what I think. Best answered with the previous post linked to below:I believe the general medical consensus regarding the shortened lifespan of the Scots is down to their copious gluggage of Ironbru and alcohol, as well as enthusiastic indulgence of deep fried Mars bars. Diet has a bigger role than you think!
In another place which is about health matters, I yawn at the number of people who say "I eat healthy".Because spelling it out so often prompts some food or exercise bore to come in with one or more crackpot theories on what is best for me.

But you haven't said - leaving room for much assumption. I give up Goodnight. That last short sentence is an assumption, you don't know what I think. Best answered with the previous post linked to below:

More incorrect assumptions. I know from what you've previously posted that my diet would largely meet with your approval, but why would I seek that when we are two different people with differing requirements? I've had 85 years of finding what is best for me, you haven't had a single minute of finding that for me.Yep, as I suspected, you simply didn't want your diet to be scrutinised... but have you considered that others, including food faddists and vegan weirdos, could learn something from you? I agree most have absolutely no idea, I see what is in their supermarket trolleys, I see their shape and condition. But I'm very far from being "the majority". I'm a metaphorical million miles from that, to the degree that I frequently upset the people who dislike exceptions. In another place which is about health matters, I yawn at the number of people who say "I eat healthy".
The wording sets me off. But I think by far the majority of have no idea.
Have you been rubbing onion on the soles of your feet?......Did it work? The NHS will fix it with whack-a-mole medication regimes, so that lardy fatsos can continue eating crap and doing nothing; not having to change a thing... (I'm an ex-lardy fatso)(3 stones ago)(One stone left to lose).
How did your appointment go?I felt like an idiot wearing my KN95 mask today, wandering around hospital to attend an appointment with the endochriminologist (somewhere in his body, a crime is being committed) - very few were wearing masks. On the bus, I was the only one wearing a mask.
Also, we are all different. And at the detailed level, we have different needs and react differently to the same foods/diet.I agree most have absolutely no idea, I see what is in their supermarket trolleys, I see their shape and condition. I had to smile at that! most of my ancestors met their end by being lynched for various misunderstanding about animal husbandy and ownership , and property right too.Aren't a lot of Scottish of Viking origin ie Nordic? Rape, pillag, rape, enslavement, trade, more rape etc. etc. Nordic genes are much coveted, are they not? I believe the general medical consensus regarding the shortened lifespan of the Scots is down to their copious gluggage of Ironbru and alcohol, as well as enthusiastic indulgence of deep fried Mars bars.
There is the Lloyd's bank coprolite (fossilised viking turd). Full of parasites and the enormous product of a diet of saturated fat and barley. Probably the kind of indigestion required to make one **** off on a narrowboat to a cold wet island full of picts to rape and pillageI had to smile at that! most of my ancestors met their end by being lynched for various misunderstanding about animal husbandy and ownership , and property right too.
Irn Bru had nothing to do with it!
However, many redheads have Nordic genes and suffer from more skin cancer, need more anaesthetic, more likely to get Parkinson's, ...Nordic genes are much coveted, are they not?
It was a Long Boat Danidl... Narrow boat is rather later, metallic, somewhat slower and terrible on sea..There is the Lloyd's bank coprolite (fossilised viking turd).
